Out of anything The wii was a pretty darn nice system, but When Playing old school games, typically like Smash brothers, the wii mote and nunchuck just didn't fit the job. 


The Story of How I got this controller: I got it with my allowance.  I got a white Colored one instead of the black. I was very excited and loved using the controller for smash brothers brawl, and Mario kart wii.


Price Point 5: The two editions I usually see them around for 20 bucks or slightly less.  The white controller I got costed 20$ from Gamestop, I think that was a fairly reasonable price, considering that was the same amount of money you'd  would naturally have to pay for the nunchuck. But however If you Find a gold edition. The Gold classic Controller Pro. Well let me summ it up in a way that it's understandable.. THE GOLD EDITION CONTROLLER PRICE RANGE IS OUTRAGEOUS!:  The reason I'd say it's outrageous, is because the gold edition came with a bundle, of Goldeneye 007. When I spotted the price range, They costed about 100 $ or more last I saw it.   I thought naturally the price point of the gold edition should have been lowered, because the original editions costed 20$ and a wii Game naturally cost about 50$ A bit pricey, but It shouldn't cost something like 100 dollars.


Appeal and appearence: 5
I remember the N64 Controllers back in the day, You'd know how they used to come in all sorts of colors Like red to yellow to blue etc.   Heck even during those n64 days, you could probably find a special pokemon colored n64 controller.  So May I ask why? Why isn't the same happening for wii controllers?: The reason I question this, is because they mostly come in only white or black.  Looking at the main appearence, It was pretty plain looking and it looked very cheap too, but on top of that. The worst part of the appearnece of the controller it's self. was The main Finish. It has a glossy finish to the controller which means all sorts of Finger prints, scratches, and other noticeable crud.  I mean come on Nintendo, Even items like controllers are mean't to appeal, Not look like a dusty old hair bag. Ouch! Burn!.

Comfort 7: There was lots of improvements that Made this controller far more comfy to use than it's original counterpart. Like The cord being on the top instead of the bottom, I honestly wondered why Nintendo even did that. But either way, it doesn't get in my way when playing games. But even with minor improvements like that. The Main concept is the overall design in buttons and analog sticks. As for the Main control buttons: I didn't mind the Plastic and Clicky feeling when button mashing in games like brawl. My Main complaint here is the analog sticks feel so cheap and loose. Like I could easily loose grip off of them.  But Overall: Compared to control sticks on controllers like the n64 one, this isn't much of a surprise.


To wrap things up: The cheap feeling of the controller, and overall design. makes me think that 20$ should be lowered for something like this.

Pros: Has More accessible comfort, and Grips.
Cons: Cheap design, A bit pricey, and The triggers aren't no longer analog.

My Mother happens to have one of those classic controllers for the Wii and I got to say, those controllers are pretty good on them, they work just as great as they were on the SNES.
