Alright, here's the rundown. As many of you know there are many problems dealing with the Nintendo 64 emulators. The pros and cons are ridiculous and nobody this situation that I have:

On Mupen64 the graphics quality and sound is great, but you can't customize controls.

On 1964 the graphics are glitchy and the game is basically unplayable but you can customize controls.

Why isn't there a mix of these two?!

How in the world can I get a great flowing quality emulator that will also allow me to customize controls for N64 games?

Is there anybody out there that has figured out how to customize controls for Mupen64plus OR fix the glitching on 1964?

Thanks for your help and feedback!

Nintendo 64 emulation is rather bad. The games are rather powerful and like the MAME emulation it can be faulty. I am not sure you can change the controls on mupen64, but if it helps you can disable sticky keys in control panel if using shift as the A button is annoying you.

Search the web for N64 emulators, there are much better ones than on vizzed. Different emulators work better on some games than others but if you having trouble with both download a different emulator and the roms you want. If you find a good enough one you could suggest it and maybe tRiune may add it to the RGR, you will never know.

We currently have those 2 emulators because they are open-source emulators, meaning we can modify them to work with the RGR Plugin, however they might not be the best emulators -- the best emulators are not open-source, so we can't use them.
