Hello readers I am MechaMento if you do not already know me. From the title you may be guessing I am wanting to hack Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This all sounds great that I am making a hack and stuff but there is a catch. I can not get any where with this hack if I have no idea how to do it.
I have looked into youtube for tutorials already but I am yet to find a decent video with real download links (ones that don't give you a violent virus when downloaded). I do not like using sites like wiki and yahoo answers because they take multiple web pages to find every step.

There are 3 ways you can help me...

1. Tell me via replying to this thread.
2. Finding a decent youtube video about a Super Mario World hack with trusted download links.
3. Finding a good website that explains everything (possibly with download links)

Quick question before I say anything:

Are you looking for the ROM hacking tools, or the ROM itself?

goodboy : All I need is the tools. I know I can get a Rom and a Snes emulator from sites I trust. just I am yet to find anything good for the tools.

If you can, can you list them all please!

Now, unfortunately, I'm not very advanced in ROM hacking. Sorry. However, I can search for people who would know some good tools. I just wanted to clear that last question up.

I have the perfect site for you! It's called Super Mario World Central or SMW Central for short. It is a site created just for Super Mario World hackers. You can post in forums just like you can on vizzed. Here's the link:
