I want to know, how many of you have ever broken something, or done something wrong, and not told the truth about it. Does it eat away at you every day, or are you always dishonest to protect yourself? What's your evil secret? Here's your chance to come clean, or just brag about what you got away with.

I don't think I have one, unless breaking a nintendo DS or purpose counts.....

Mine is absolutely awful.  When I was much younger, I adored playing with my little brother more than any of my siblings.  Well, when he was at the age of JUST learning to walk, he had this adorable little habit. If I held a blanket up, he would charge at the blanket, full of giggles.  It was soooooooooooooo adorable!!!!!!  Well, one day, I was... well.... being a dumb little kid.  I held the blanket up, but I was next to a wall. He charged at the blanket, through it, and into the closet behind me.  He hit the wall head on, and bounced back so hard that he fell on his back. He started screaming and crying, and my mother rushed into the room in panic. Of course, I was absolutely terrified... I had no idea if he was truly injured... but that image was something I will NEVER get out of my mind... the way he bounced off that wall.  When my mother asked what happened, I told her some lie. I don't remember what I said, but probably something along the lines of "He lost his balance and fell."

I know my brother wasn't really damaged, but it DOES eat me up.  I mean, even just sitting here and thinking about it, my heart rate rises.  I can't believe I was so stupid and it hurts me to know I was the cause of his pain.  That cute little charge and giggle... ahhhh......

And there were two other times in which he got pretty injured because of me as well.  I feel... horrible about those times.  They were accidents, sure, but yipes....

I love him very much, and thinking that I hurt an innocent little baby?  Makes the color drain from my face and makes me feel like a horrible person.

Did you ever later tell him about this and say you were sorry? I mean, I take it you are both adults now. Besides, you did not permanently hurt him and you love him so I think it is okay. It is not like you meant to do it.

Brigand : I never told him about it. I doubt he even remembers it since he had to be less than 3 years old.  I bet even if I told my mother now, she wouldn't remember what I was talking about. I know I didn't mean to do it, but I still can't believe I was so careless. I mean, what if something HAD happened to him?

      Over the years, I started caring less and less about other people minus friends and such, but some thing still eat at me. I still remember all the times I've hurt other kids on accident, or said something I shouldn't have. For example, while I was playing with a kid a few years younger than me, and he had realllly started to make me mad, so as he was walking past me to get to his tv, I tripped him. I didn't intend to actually do it, I expected him to see it coming and stop, or almost trip, but nope. He fell and I remember the look on his face as he just barely missed hitting his temple right on the corner of a stand. He could have died in that situation, and it would have been my fault. Honestly, I've had a lot of experiences like this, and each time, I die a little on the inside knowing that I could have just killed someone unworthy of death.

Dang, for a Light hearted thread I didn't expect to see such deep answers, but hey, anything to break the ice I guess. I realized that I never bothered to add a comment myself so I guess I'll tell you one of mine.

Now I can't remember a specific time but, I used to always use other peoples things without permission. I never bothered to care how others felt about it, and I even ended up breaking things without telling anyone either. I've never actually come clean and I don't even know where some of these people are anymore.

Also, Back when I was a Kid, I stole a Deck of YuGiOh cards from a drawer in a group home. I still don't know to whom they belonged to but looking back now, it wasn't worth it. It was a pretty bad deck to begin with, but I was an even worse player so... I regret doing it both because of the above reason and because I know I shouldn't have stolen it.

That was two but..... anyway thanks for all the replies. Happy to see some people could think back to these things that were buried in their memories.

A dirty, evil secret you say? Here is one I still fear will be found out.


I 'used' money from my grade school to buy my lunch for about a month (you could buy delicious fries and such). 


There, I said it. And how? Well, we all were given a card with a code on it. Each card had like X amount of dollars on it, and when there was nothing left, your parents could reload it. Clearly, I lost mine like the next day we were given the card. I kept it a secret, because otherwise my teachers would have one of those "You should be careful with your belongings" kind of discussions with me. Thing is, I found a staff card of a teacher who helps making the meals a street away or something from my school, and it had like 200 dollars on it. I was thinking of returning it like the next day, because school had finished, however I was dumb and forgot to. I even forgot about the card. And when I found the card in my schoolbag a week later, I thought it was mine. So I used it, not knowing it was not mine. Until a month later, when I saw that it said 'staff' on the back of the card. I just returned it to the man's desk and walked away.


I still feel guilty about this, how I just 'used' the man's money without knowing. I should have been more careful and I shouldn't have forgotten about the card. Please don't hate me for this. Please don't.

My evil secret? Well I have many evil secrets and some of them I really  don't like to talk about, but there is one I can tell you..
It's about me stealing candy as a kid.

When I was a kid my mother used to keep candy in a drawer in the kitchen, every Saturday she would walk into my room and give me a small bag of candies. She told me that a hen named Agda lived in that drawer and that the hen was laying eggs containing my candy there. Of course my mom told me not to look in that drawer, she told me that if I did I would scare away Agda. When I was really young I believed this story and I never looked inside, I was really grateful and happy. But when I grew older I understood that it had to be a lie. I got curious and looked in the drawer, and of course there was no hen in there, only lots of candy. I closed the drawer without taking anything and felt really bad for peeking inside. Maybe a week or so later I had a fight with my mom and I decided to steal some of the candy. I sneaked into the kitchen and opened the drawer, I took a little bit of candy, I didn't take much at all because I didn't want my mother to notice. That was the first time I stole candy, and it wasn't the last.
After that first time I continued to steal candy for almost a year, never much at all, I still didn't want my mother to notice what I was doing... But of course she finally did, and hid the candy somewhere else. She told me that Agda was mad at me and had moved to another family. After that I started to wonder if she really did exist, I felt really bad for upsetting her and I still do. T^T

This always makes me sad to think about, I was such a mean kid back then...

Most of the stuff I did, was not intentional. So I can gladly say I did not do anything bad on purpose. 


Like breaking drawers, stuff falling down and getting broken.. about 95% ended up being accidental.

Well um I tend to steal thing when I was young (a lot of things I wasn't a good kid XD) and some other thing but that going a bit personal 

I raged on Pokemon Diamond because I tried to use a Staraptor against a Steelix. I was 7 at the time, so I didn't know about the type matchup. So, I just snapped it in half, and my dad had to take responsibility for it. I did tell Mum it was me eventually, though.

Eh, I am not sure if I have any. If I do, I do not remember about any of them. So, none for now.

I do have some of those, normally when I end up breaking something nether if it's from frustration, or by jealousy, then I try to hide the evidences so no one knows.

I have lied about things I have done a few times and I always feel guilty about it but I never tell anyone what I am hiding. I don't remember any of my lies so I can't share my "evil secret".

My only evil secret is not even that evil. I was up early one morning when I dropped a glass on the floor, waking my family up, so I pretended to be asleep on the sofa, and told them that it was the wind. Which they believed!

My evil secret is that I lie and steal for my advantage.
