Mega man has always been my favorite game and series since I was a kid... I've beat all of the original 1-8 and the X series 1-6, but I was never into the battle network stuff.

I think this belongs in the Video Games forum though so I'm moving it there.

I'm onboard with tRIUNE there. I had Mega Man growing up as a kid and that game series was and is my most favorite to this day. Just like tRIUNE I played and beat all of the original Mega Man games and ripped through the X series. I jumped into the Battle Network side for a bit. It was interesting to say the least and made for a decent RPG so I was fine with that. The Megaman Zero series that sprouted out from the X series as a spin-off was really great too.

I can agree with you MoonCanvas, Mega Man 1 is tough but its a very rewarding game when you get to the end and finish it. The older games like this one had a better rewarding feeling to them than newer games these days when you reached the credits but that's just me.

I played through the Megaman Zero series as well, and the first 3 Megaman X's. I tried Megaman 7 but couldn't beat Doctor Willy, and before I foundout his weakness I had shutdown the game, then quit once I realized I had to go through his castle again.

Megaman Zero 4 is the final Megaman Zero, and also the best of its series.

I will go with tRIUNE and zerothesaint.However in MM10 and rockman&forte also in MM7 there was some goshdarn wily battles.and if you were bass king form 5 will PWN you.i played all pieces of the franchise.I dont want to get further.But Legends 2 and 1 were overpowered.In my opinion mega man is the best franchise.Also mega man zero 4 was REALLY EASY.My favourite from the zero series was Zero 2.Cuz....IT WAS HARD

I never been much into the series but I have played some on Vizzed and very few that I own.
There okay the platforming ones are a bit repetitive except for Megaman Zero of course it adds a story to the game and dialogue.
