hey guys so its that time of year at my school its homecoming so i want some tips on how to ask a girl to homecoming ( without being turned down) so if anyone has any idea please respond

As for asking a girl out, try to think of a creative and original way of asking her out. Have some friends help you out too...either that, or just be yourself and ask her upfront.

I am going to ask a girl out by putting a bag with bunch of candy and balloons on her front step so she sees it when she walks out her front door. You can use this for practically anyone! Try it out!

How about you try to think about some girl in your school who might the most think of the same way you do about the whole ordeal and ask her out?

You're a guy.  You have to man up and realize rejection is going to happen.  We're men here and we know we don't always get what we want, especially girls.  I got shot down more times than I can count.  Once you have it happen, it's no big deal.

Pick a girl you talk to and you know.  Walk up to her when she's not with friends and say, "Hi.  You're fun to talk to and I want to take you to the Homecoming dance.  Are you in?"

Smile and don't say another word.  Let her think it over or whatever like that.  If she says no, it's okay.  It happens.  Don't be angry, don't be upset, don't ask why and don't beg.  Just say, 'Okay, that's cool.  I hope to see you there anyway," and walk away.  And keep talking to her in class or the halls or wherever.

If she says yes then say, "Great, thanks.  We'll do the details later."  And walk away.

It's about the confidence.  Don't show her you're ruined if she hurts your feelings.  Also, don't act like you've never had a girl say yes before if she agrees to go.  Be cool and relaxed.  It takes work and practice to do it and this is a good time to start.

Also, wear a nice shirt, do yourself up a little bit and look presentable when you ask.

I don't believe the whole big gesture thing is really necessary. If anything, it is more likely to have them go with you not because they want to, but because it makes them feel even more guilty to say no (makes me wonder how many of those public proposals on the jumbotron resulted in the girl thinking "I can't turn him down in front of millions of people"). In the end, do you want them to go with you because they want to, or because a gesture would make them feel bad for turning you down? Just talk casually with a girl that is a friend. If you know (or don't think) she has a date to it, just bring it up. Simple as "Oh, you aren't going with anyone yet? You want to go together?" Big gestures for something like homecoming is overrated and unnecessary. 

warmaker : ok i know this might make me sound like a cowered but i really like this girl but she is going with one of her friends and ever since i laid eyes on her I've just fallen head over heals for her and i just cant take my mind off her

sonic23 : The girl is a cat?!?! No really though, what's with the cat picture? If she is already going with someone and she knows that you know, then don't ask. If she doesn't know that you know, then you can ask. I would just ask her normal, don't make it into a big deal. warmaker gives some good advice, which s ironic since his username is warmaker.

Here's my tip always go for the girl that you know you get along well and who is your friend cause then you'll get a chance to go to homecoming without looking bad and have fun with her and chances are that you might hook up with her ;D

Well I just saw this and though .... What the heck . Well my advice is not the best but I would say you would have to be confident . Firm.  But be subtle too . Don't like force her or anything . Just be calm cool and controlled

sonic23 : That's great.  That's your motivation.  Talk to her more.  Ask her questions, learn about her, just plain interact with her.  If she's got a guy she's going with, you're out of luck.  But if you are friends with her you can be with her and and enjoy her presence.  You may simply not get a 'yes' answer if you ask.  That's okay.

But if you just hang out with her and you're her friend, you'll enjoy being around her.  That may be the most you can ask now.  Later down the road?  Maybe more.
