Well, if you are building something in minecraft, and at night, there are bats. They are everywhere. So you are building something, and you find bats on the ceiling of your house. Isn't that annoying when you have to whip out a weapon and kill them, for me, they respawn.

DittoDude44 : Did you make sure you kept your house well-lit with torches, Glowstones, and Redstone Lambs, because they'll spawn at or below layer 63 with a light level of 4 or lower (7 or lower around Halloween time).

For me, I don't have an issue because my MC house is in the Extreme Hills Biome and it is just above layer 63.

Why kill them?  They've never bothered me, personally.  LOL  I find the ominous noises behind walls to be far more disturbing.  When I first started playing minecraft, I had to mute the sound because I found it so creepy.

DittoDude44 : No, honestly not so much. I find them pretty cool. They do bug me when I forget to add lighting in my house on a multiplayer server, but since the bats were added, I have been making a model of the BatCave on Lava Craft.
