I actually started posting for the tour DE vizzed to get a jersey now it just became a habit of mines. I would say out of boredom but how can you get board on vizzed (basically impossible ).

Well what used to be my motivation "drive" to post was the fact that there was alot of interesting thread topics that I wanted to give my honest opinion on but now there aren't to many threads I want to post in so I have little next to no motivation or drive to post at the moment. Actually, I have this problem all the time. For me, it's mainly time. I have to be careful with long posts because I don't have much time to post them. If a post takes me too long, I probably won't post it just because of that. When I go on threads, I look for something a little thought-provoking but won't compel me to write an entire thesis paper. Well, I might do that on the weekends, but on the weekdays, when I'm busy and at school, I just don't have the time.

So there you have it: my issue is time.

I post when I want to learn other people's opinions about something or when I think I can contribute to a conversation.  I'm pretty picky and I could write answers on every single thread but I don't.  I don't add anything if I don't think I have anything to add.  I know a lot of folks like to rack up the posts and the Viz and the jerseys and such but it's not something I care for.

I post because I like the conversation, my insight may be able to help, or I have something to say.  I even tried to go on a posting spree and see how many threads I could do at one given time.  It didn't last long because I was all "...." like that.  I just didn't have things to say to a lot of the threads.

Oh well.

After the competition started up, my comment I made went null and void. I loathe posting for competitions now. Well, a little bit. Also, I don't care about post count (unless, you know, it hits a milestone) and level as much as I did before.

Now, for me, it's mainly for having fun with friends, sharing my opinion, and helping people. I like to post stories and reviews, as well.

I am driven to post just by keeping a high post rating average, but for now I am doing it for the TDV which I am considering dropping out for because I don't feel like competing against unfair spammers.

But as of now, I am competing just to keep a good post count as well as post EXP and avg posts per day. So that is why I am posting. Good question by the way.  I can't believe I have let this TDV slip through my fingers, maybe I will try again tomorrow, otherwise I am seriously considering to just wait until January TDV to post because the rules will be more strict, plus this TDV has just gotten way out of hand. But I am planning to just get a few points to stay in the top 3 and also if I ever consider to get back in the competition so I am not too far behind.
