Hello everyone! I am Deadend136 and I am actually in the music industry and have been for over 8 years now! I know that this is a gaming website where even I come to relax most of the time since life can be stressful in the fast lane! Regardless if anyone needs help or free consulting that is indeed a service I do offer just make sure when you inbox me you are not very general and are very specific because for the most part if you ask a question such as "How do I make a stable career in the music industry?" I would need just so much specific information such as what country you are in, what you are looking to accomplish, etc. Also I do not deal with people who are jerks and I promise you that if you just send me a link and act like you are the next big thing I will not reply and I will black list you on my industry list of who I work with. This is just a point of curiosity but what genre do you work with? I like to believe you wont say pop.

On the business level for free consulting I do find myself working with rap, pop, and hip hop. Is it something I like doing? Not really but the performers in those genres usually do not know as much as other genres which is the general knowledge. Also it seems that even by giving basic facts and advice they are impressed which is also something I do not exactly like.

I do find myself working with DJs, radio hosts who spin local and non local music, as well as rock and punk bands though on a less regular basis because I do have a unique background and giving advice or social media promotion and even short term goals can actually be carried over to just about any genre.  Of course if you are a country singer I would end up giving you a different outlook and goals than if a heavy metal band approached me.

Music and entertainment is a calculated process and it has always been that way. The reason why the equation is sometimes varied is due to the fact that money plays a big role on the direction these two industries go in. For example if someone in an inner city area is selling out all the shows they play, they have thousands of fans, and they have so many song downloads then a label would take a chance on them because of the fact that they are pulling in numbers in a different way and on their own. And trust me if someone like Jay-z or Taylor Swift started making songs about anything then every band or performer in those genres would follow. Sort of how you now see so many songs out of clubs, partying, drinking, and drugs.
