I did. he was a very annoying boss in Super smash brothers brawl.

So how about you did you find ridley/meta ridley annoying?

I can honestly say yes, Ridley is one of the most annoying bosses in the Metroid series because no matter how many times you beat this guy down, he always has a way to come back. But then again he serves as the reminder and rivalry with Samus since he is the reason her family is dead and she was left as an orphan and raised to be a bounty hunter. The struggling battle between Samus and Ridley are that of a trademark for the series really.

Even so, he becomes more and more annoying as the Space Pirates revive him. For me myself, just not being able to put him down completely has always been my beef with him. That and he shows himself at the worst times. One example was during Metroid Prime, the intro stage after you beat the Parasite Queen and need to evac before the ship explodes. Nearing the exit and seeing you're almost in the clear and guess who's sitting up there in the air, none other than freaking Meta Ridley. 

I gotta say that Ridley being Ridley is the biggest annoyance. He always finds ways to screw you over or be a pain to fight. But at the same time I love him because he always has a new trick up his scaly dragon arms and proves to be a challenge each time. Good thing too, otherwise his ever prolonged existence would be stale and hated for the repetitiveness despite how he manages to show up countless times.
