Do you guys ever listen to foreign songs of your favorite genre of music?

Mistress : That's a good question!

I'm not sure what to call "favorite genre" as I really love many different types. If I had to choose, I would say the large umbrella of "rock" and "classical". When it comes to rock, I listen to lots of bands from England (which is foreign to me) but also from anywhere else, I'll sometimes find a good song or a good band on youtube from Scandinavia or Asia. Classical is even harder to identify what is "foreign", as most of it is from Europe... so I suppose you could it is all considered foreign?

I enjoy music from different parts of the world in general; I really like Klezmer, Gaelic, and African music specifically.

Juliet : This can go to both of you. Have either of you competed in a VCS before? Or any posting competition for that matter.

pacman1755 : I've competed in a VCS twice I think, both back in 2009. After that I've kind of lost interest in competing for post counts or in any other competitions concerning posting around the board.

pacman1755 : No, not really. I don't like many fast posts, and really only posts when I have something to say. For that matter can't really participate in most posting competitions... though I do try to post at least a little more during those times.

Juliet and Light Knight what do you think is the best naruto game

Juliet : Do you remember what it was like when you were a newbie?

Light Knight : I would recommend naruto ultimate ninja storm 3 for the ps3 or 360

To both Juliet and Light Knight,

Let's say you both have a friend, one that isn't very close to you, having thoughts about suicide. What actions would you do to make sure that doesn't happen?

Light Knight : I see that you're one of the oldest active members on Vizzed. What was one change that you think significantly changed Vizzed Board?

pacman1755 : It was fun knowing nothing about anything, lol plus I liked exploring around the site and being welcomed warmly by the older users when they see you in chat or on the board for the first time(most of them are inactive now unfortunately). That was when Vizzed board was still a small community and we had nothing but gb and gbc games in the RGR.

Mistress : It really depends on the situation... I doubt I'll be able to know about that person being suicidal in the first place if we aren't that close. I would also know very little about his or her life problems and what to say. But if for some unknown reason I learned about it, I'll probably tell it and pass the bucket to his/her family or closest friends and let them do what they think is the best for him/her.

Mistress :   I don't know why, but when I do know someone is very depressed, I try to befriend them more. That's what I would do instinctively; and, like Juliet, probably have a talk with one of their good friends, who I know is mature and will handle the situation seriously and responsibly.

megamanmaniac : The most significant change is the RGR. When I first joined, there was none. So the board was smaller, and the only reason for people to be here was for the forums. Everyone was very focused on posting.

Light Knight : Have you ever permabanned anyone yet? Or is it too early for you to take a chance?

Light Knight : Have you ever had trouble with a certain user for some reason and punished them? Or is to early in your global standing to of done that yet?

pacman1755 : No I have not. I have temp banned, but no permas yet. I may have done some reregs... but I don't think so.

Bintsy : Unfortunately, yes, it has happened more than once; sometimes they are my friends, but thankfully I have the pleasure of having friends who understand what my job is and don't hold it against me.

Light Knight : How long do you think you will remain a Global?

Juliet : What do you usually do to find entertainment? Do you enjoy something in particular in your free time or do you stay bored a lot? I always seem to find something to do but I am trying to help a friend and so many things come across my mind but it doesn't seem to her her.

Bintsy : Hmm... I usually put my headphones on before thinking of anything to do during my free time. That way, if ever I can't really think of something interesting at the moment, I won't get all frustrated doing nothing but think for nothing, lol, since I'm already doing "something" (listening to music) Sorry if it doesn't quite make sense...

I also have tons of hobbies to choose from. I could play games, sports, musical instruments, or if I just want to sit back and relax, I could read books and mangas, watch tv, movies and anime, eat, drink coffee or tea, surf the internet, compose music or make a story inside my mind (I have this certain fiction world that I've been developing for years both story-wise and structure-wise. If I've released it publicly right after I've finished it's very first part of the story before, this year would have been it's 11th year anniversary So if I have nothing to do, I could "dive" into that world, aka, daydream.)

To help yourself while thinking, you can prepare a list of things that you like doing beforehand. That should eliminate the need to come up with something to do and you could just focus on thinking if you want to do that certain activity written on the paper at that moment. If not, you can always move on to the next activity listed and ask yourself again if you like it. Repeat the process until you've found the perfect activity for you. Make sure to make the list long enough.
