Singelli : Not to get too philosophical, but I think to a certain extent, we are all a little selfish. We do things to make ourselves either feel good, or improve our current situation. So I think I'm nice to people for three reasons: 1. I know it's how I would like to treated, and I know that if I treat people well, there is a better chance that they will do the same to me. And, quite honestly, being nice helps you be successful in the world, whatever success is for you, usually.. 2. It feels good. Who honestly does NOT feel good knowing something you did or said made someone else happier? 3. I think the world would be a better place if everyone treated each other better, so I'm trying to do my part.

  5. A Kettle/pot OR a harmonica. Now did you mean CLEAN water is available? Or just from a stream or lake? If it was was just random fresh water, I'd bring a kettle/pot for boiling it. If there is clean good water that I know is safe, I would bring a harmonica... helps me keep my sanity.
