The ROM for Sirius Mario Bros 1 on Get-Your-Rom (link is at the bottom of the above page) appears to be a bad ROM of the game when I try to play it on FCE Ultra. Mario can't hit many of the question blocks, jumps through objects, etc. Is it a bad site for ROMs? Should I use a different emulator program? Thanks

You're probably running an older version of the emulator. The RGR Plugin is built on the 2.1.5 version and the rom seems to have no problems. I've also tested it in version 2.2.0 and it seems to not have those problems.

Anyway, you could also try both versions of the hack from get-your-rom.com, or get the latest fceux emulator:
