Alright guys welcome to a..odd edition to awesome month now before i go into this i just want to say that there will be no pokemon reviews for awesome month tomorrow now today i made a poliwag review that did not go so well view wise but im not making this review for that i am making this review because i am going to be gone for most of tomorrow with my girlfriend so i would rather spend time with her than do these so hey lets get this done but first as always in awesome month let me tell you why i like the pokemon

Well i like this pokemon because these things used to freak me out as a child and as a child i like things that freaked me out and scared the crap out of me such as aliens nightmare on elm street(good god i did not want to sleep) and the Steven King mini series known as IT now that movie made me afraid of sewers For a LONG TIME and when i saw this pokemon i knew i had to have it and it was not that good so i decided to get rid of it but still there is no problem with looking into the past so lets get this started TO THE MOVESET

MOVESET

Alright this thing does actually have a decent starting set it has barrage uproar and hypnosis that is a very good set for now but really the only useful move is uproar but still nice try buddy nice try

Now at level 7 we get reflect this move doubles the users defense this is an okay move i think you should use it

At level 11 we get leech seed this move drains a little bit of the targets health every turn so i dont like using it but it is effective at catching pokemon so its not entirely useless i guess

Now at level 17 we get bullet seed this grass type move has a base damage of 25 and hits 2-5 turns and oddly this is a good move because in many respects it does alot of damage i mean thats 25 damage per hit if you get 2 off thats about the power of 1 headbutt so i suggest you keep this until you get something better which will be A LONG TIME so get used to this move

At level 19 we get stun spore...ugh..use it if you want i dont like it

At level 21 we get poison powder..again really..same as number 19

At level 23 we get sleep powder-OH COME ON YOU KNOW THE DRILL

Now at level 27 we get confusion a decent psychic type move with a base damage of 50 and also has a 10% chance of confusing the target use this move its not great but its the only psychic type move you get in a while so thankful you got this

At level 33 we get worry seed a non damaging type move that temporarily turns the targets ability into insomnia this is a stupid move dont use it end of story

At level 37 we get a...fairly odd move known as natural gift this is a damaging type move that does random damage of any kind no matter what...why would you use this it makes no sense but anyway take it if you want

At level 43 we get solar beam this grass type attack deals 120 damage but it takes 1 turn for the user to absorb sunlight this is an okay move it can work out but also this is where i use my stone to get exeggcutor why because you can get solar beam and leaf storm all you have to do is use a leaf stone right after you get the pokemon to level 43 but anyway i guess i should show you guys the rest of this things set

Now at level 47 we get extrasenssory this psychic type move has a base damage of 80 and has a 10% chance of confusing the opponent this is much better than confusion there is no reason not to take it

At level 53 we get...such a stupid move..ugh okay this move is called bestow this gives the target the users held item...why on earth would anyone want this move...well at least thats the last move in this things set

STATS

Alright once you evolve this guy he gets a MAJOR stat boost standing tall at 125...that is a great special attack and guess what all its other stats are pretty good to its health is at 95 and its defense is attack 85 that is good not great but it will get you through some tough times like say a gym or something like that its attack is okay at 95 but there is really no reason to use that since most of this guys moves are special attack now the 2 things that suck are its speed and its special defense...uh,,okay its not to bad really its okay but i recommend Ev training it to focus on defense and special defense even if you wanted it to be fast there is not much of a point it would take far to many points for it to be good and the rest of your stats had to suffer to get its speed to a decent level besides this guy is meant to be a powerful giant thats all so all in all its stats are pretty good now let me talk about something so bad...so painful that if your considering using this pokemon what i am about to tell you could make you re consider you ready...okay this thing has 7 WEAKNESSES and most of them are common those are flying poison bug ghost fire ice and dark...thats alot of flaws its not to the point where that becomes a major problem but it does come to the point where it will annoy you Alot but if you can deal with that this pokemon might not be so bad

TMS AND HMS

Leaf storm
Psychic
Sleep powder
psych up

Alright i would say this is a relatively decent move set you have leaf storm to blow away water types rock type and ground types you have psychic to be your main offensive move its not used to protect you from anything its just used to chop the target pokemon down sleep powder is there just for any little old time when you might need it infact you can replace it with something else if you want and finally psych up it there to do nothing but make leaf storm and psychic even stronger so once again i say this is a decent moveset and..thats all i got to say TO THE GYM....fatty...well that was mean shame on you relinquish-why am i doing this SHOW THEM THE GYMS

GYMS AND RIVALS

okay this guy is actually pretty good against gyms and your rival i mean it but thats only because its sturdy what i mean by that is that this guy can take a few hits if you did what i said and EV trained it to focus on defense and special defense and still it wont go down easily your rival how ever will put up a decent fight when your using this thing but still i dont think it should have to much trouble especially when you evolve this thing or if you evolve it at all trainers will be a breeze now the trick to this pokemon is basically what i call being a rock what i mean by that is you have to be sturdy you cant let anything move you even if it has a type advantage i promise you that you can survive it if you did what i said you have to take that damage and deal it right back you have to have no fear thats just my advise though...oh yeah should you take it to the elite 4...no not really its far to slow for it to be really effective but hey it could work its just that the elite 4 will hit you so hard you might not have a chance to get back up

FInal thoughts:well this guy is...okay its not the best but it is a decent grass type if you evolve it and even if you dont evolve it the trick with this pokemon how ever is that the timing is key if you want alot of psychic type move keeps Exeggcute if you dont go with exegguutor now i personally prefer exeggutor plus you get a major stat boost but thats not to say ?exeggcute is horrible it just has low stats but anyway i feel like i am rambling the point is this pokemon is durable its good against gyms its great against trainers but you will still have a little trouble with your rival the 1 thing holding it back from a 4/5 is that horrible weakness im sorry but my god that slowed my testing down Alot now with certain pokemon i have to rate them a special kind of way i say this because both of these pokemon are decent the problem is the evolve by a stone so i have to review them separately now i have only done this once but it seems like i have to do it again

Final Rating:3.5/5 (if your using Exeggutor)

2.5/5(if your using exeggcute)

And thats that my god this one was hard but to be honest its not that bad of a pokemon but anyway just a reminder there is not going to be an awesome month review tomorrow thats why i am posting an extra review today anyway go check out my other reviews like poliwag and vulpix blah blah blah see yah

Fun fact:i prefer caramel over chocolate but my girlfriend prefers chocolate over caramel...random fact of the day....

P.S One last thing is anyone freaked out by Exeggutor...i mean just take a a look at it for a solid minute...but hey it does have a cool name
