Giygas that evil thing, like what is it anyway? I find it so strange how such a weird creature can star in an amazing story and actually suit a game like that so well. Shame EarthBound was never released in europe (Though it is coming out on the Wii U), that is how I found this site searching for this game for an online rom. I never got to Giygas since I was bad at the game and well... Kind of gave up. I have not played it since I was a guest, but now I am a member I can play all the time, that is I am not playing Zelda!

MechaMento : To really understand what he is you would need to play Mother (it's in the RGR) Or, I'll just tell you to save frustration. He is actually Giegue (The main villain in Mother). He was raised By Ninten's great-grandparents George and Maria. He invades Earth because George stole information on PK/PSI powers. He was very attached to Maria, so he was hesitant on attacking. But in the end you sing the lullubye Maria always sung to defeat him. Fast forward to Earthbound. He becomes insane, and much more powerful most likely because of his loss of Maria, and his defeat from Mother. http://earthbound.wikia.com/wiki/Giygas this has a better explanation than I could give.

Giiygas is OK. He's not one of those annoying bosses that annoy you throughout the whole game. I'm not really sure if his story is true or not though. (the one that said he wanted to be friends with Ness)

If you look at the design, the outline of Giygas when you first see him shows a sort of fetus shape. Also, Ness and his party walk on a set of... intestines? Clearly, those had to represent something. Also, people believe Ness embarking on this adventure represents him growing up. He deals with lots of things you see in the news or the daily paper.
