I am thinking of making another Pokemon hack. My first one, Pokemon Aquamarine, was just a basic "upgrade" from Pokemon Emerald. I am thinking of doing another hack, but making it very different. I want to use ideas from as many people as a can and use them all in the hack. If you have any ideas at all, please let me know. If you give me an idea I will make a trainer in the game with your username. If you give me a lot of ideas, or a really good idea, you will be a Gym Leader or Elite Four. If you give me a decent idea, you will be a random trainer throughout the game. Any ideas with be greatly appreciated. I also don't know which game to do. I don't want to download any more ROMs, so it will either be Red, Yellow, Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, or Emerald. If anyone wants to be my "assistant" (preferably someone that I trust and not just a random person) that would give me a lot of ideas and help me out, let me know. I will put you down as a co-creator and we will split the Viz that we earn for the plays / rates. This is NOT for the competition, so you can still help if you are in it. Thanks!

EDIT: goodboy is my co-creator. He posted a few questions for me below, but I want YOU GUYS to answer them. I want Vizzed users to give me as many ideas as possible and goodbot and I will throw in our own ideas and piece it together.

ANOTHER EDIT: You can also choose the team that your trainer has, but the levels will be the same as the Pokemon in the original. Also, if you are a gym leader, the Pokemon must be the type of the gym.

THIRD EDIT: The game we will be using is Pokemon Emerald, decided by me and goodboy.

Sounds pretty cool. I am interested, you're correct. If you'd like, I can be your co-creator. I don't want any credits or Viz, but I just want you help you, since you help me a lot.

tgags123 :   Sure I will be interested in helping you with your hack. I have some good Ideas of a hack. Here are some examples that might make a good hack. Have it where you can catch all Pokémon from generations I - V. You can catch all Starter Pokémon. The Pokémon you have to trade in the generations will not have to be traded, but they will have to level them to a certain level. Have it where in all the cities you can get rare candies, all evolutionary stones (Thunderstone, Water Stone, Sun Stone, Shiny Stone, Dawn Stone, Fire Stone, Leaf Stone, Moon Stone, and Dusk Stone.), and Master Balls. Put the legendary Pokémon in locations that people can catch them after defeating the Elite Four. Put Team Rocket in the hack like Jessie, James, and Meowth in certain locations where you can battle them. The best game hack would probably be either Fire Red or Leaf Green. That way people will not have to cross those Cracked hole with the Mach Bike. Write Back if you think this would be good. How many co-Creators can there be I would love to another one. I would love to help you since we have helped each other out.

Have you ever played the hack, Pokemon Topaz? I really liked that hack, but it had one major flaw; fakemons. So if you could make the hack the same as Pokemon Topaz WITHOUT the fakemons, that would be really cool. I was never able to finish Pokemon Topaz because of the ugly customized Pokemon they put in it.

Okay, the how about this; give the main character a dialog. Having things to say rather than the silent protagonist that has always been portrayed would be a nice change to the Pokemon games. I'm also interested on what kind of personality you give the him/her. He/she doesn't have to comment on every person/thing they talk to, but it would be nice if they could for majority of it.

I have one idea : you could somehow make it so it seems evil in a way. Like blood on the floor and other stuff

OK, I'm probably gonna get beat up for this but here I go... So, many people on here are Pokemon fans and I honestly have never played one. About 3 times a week I consider it and then decide no. The day is coming. I know you are doing Emerald but to go along with what 98Gamingstar just said, I keep looking for a semi-violent Pokemon to play.

I would like to try one called Pokemon Blood Red. Maybe a Trainer could be training his Pokemon to actually fight their opponents to the death and you must somehow defeat him/her OR someone is assassinating Pokemon and you must stop them...somehow.

OH I KNOW!!! - Pokemon Zombie Apocalypse - All the wild Pokemon have "turned" and your starter Pokemon are quickly "turned" too. Other trainers have "turned". The only way to survive is to start putting them down, one by one!

If there is already a hack like this then just point it out to me and I'll be playing it today.

Okay - don't bite off my head for this. This is my first post in the forums, but after playing several hacks I came up with an interesting idea.

I had an idea of a hack using three evil 'Teams' to be a part of instead of fighting. Team Rocket (Have to be there - its iconic), Team Gaia (After events with in Emerald - Aqua and Magma joins teams to control the world), and Team Astral (A mysterious 'shadow' organization). 
With this the detail needed in use would probably be horrific, but its a good potential. Lets say if you join Rocket you get say - Grimer, Seviper, and another. Gaia would be obvious - a mix of fire and water types. Astral would be Dark/Ghost/Psychic type starters. 

Starting as grunts and working your way up by doing things. Being allowed to steal pokemon should be a must. Gyms should be a willful event instead of a have to. Like if you want to level your pokemon up or need more money. Heck - you could even steal their pokemon. The limit should be one per trainer with no real restrictions. Rocket could have a Snatching device. Gaia could have a modified master ball, and Astral could use some thing like brain control to snatch pokemon. 

The over all form could be a new region is discovered and humans move in, but unlike others this region seems to have all pokemon - Gen 1-4 - allowing you for a good amount of customization for a party. Starting at the 'grunt' stage and working your way up. If you don't want to keep the pokemon you steal you could always have it where they turn it in. Getting points for turned in pokemon for some you can't find, or items that isn't capable of being found. 

tgags123 : ok listen. make a hack called legend of pokemon. put link as the main character. and make the final boss ganon. and instead of regular fights, nake then zelda themed pokemon battles. you can already see the rest.

Err right, ideas. I think it would be cool to have a prize in after every gym, like a choice between a rare candy, a pokemon or a pokeball of some description. If so can I be a gym leader (I don't mind too much if I am a trainer)? Possibly steel type.

My desired team: Aggron, Mawile and Magneton. (they can be any of the family depending on how far on I appear in the game). I will let you two decide on the levels.

tgags123 : Well I think you should write the story yourself I would not always rely on the public. I think some of the other ideas were good but if it is a story you are going for, do it yourself.

I also forgot to tell you that someone called Metroidhunter3 or something has made something a bit like this. Only in his thread he did not ask for ideas.

goodboy : It's up to you. I don't have a lot of time between the VCS and that thing that I told you about that I've been putting off. But if you want to, I can make time.

I think it would be fun to have a hard game. I hate how Pokémon games are not very hard.. It would be cool if you could battle trainers again, but when you went up to them the second time they would ask you if you want to battle and you could say yes or no. That's all I can think of now. If I think of more I will come back and post more.  Hope my option helps.

A smarter AI would be nice, or maybe extra starters to choose from (example: 6 starters instead of 3) maybe putting trainer red somewhere in there or making a completely new region like some of the other hacks do.
