It seems that I wanted to change the controller a little bit for the GBA Emulator.
Except that when I get to the control panel, the up button box has nothing in there and I tried to press "up" arrow key which didn't work..
I tried another "up" key which I am used to playing on MMORPGs, which is W.. but that wouldn't show up as well..

I started the game Pokemon Emerald, new game, and when I had to choose a name, I cant write down a name because that little box, that helps you choose a letter, keeps on going up and up and up. It won't stop.

Try configuring your controls on another GBA game then switch back to Pokemon Emerald it should have the same controls as the ones you changed in the other GBA game that is the only solution I know of that should work since I had this problem last month.

This belongs in the Retro Game Room forum. As for your problem, try reconfiguring your controls. That helped me when I had the same dilemma for a different system.

MrAddison : Some users report this problem with the default emulator for Gameboy Advanced Games. The easiest solution would be to use the alternate emulator "Mednafen"

To use, load a game like your normally would, then click the link in the upper left hand corner of the game window Labled; "Play using Mednafen"

The only issue here is that your save does not transfer to the new emulator.

This emulator does allow for full screen by holding alt+enter on your keyboard with the game window active.

If you have any further questions/comments feel free to PM me directly.
