Hi Folks

Stumbled upon this site while attempting to Google how to get GTA 1 working on Windows 8
Started to play Super Mario Land 3 on the NES here, remembering all the fun times I had at a friends house whilst we played it together when I was a kid (I never actually owned a NES - I was one of the few who had an Amstrad CPC 464+)

So a big thank you to the folks who have created and operate this site, from a happy gamer in Ireland

It's always good to see another person from the old-school stumble in here. Amstrad, I had to look that one up!

Pretty sure that GTA 1 & 2 are available when you buy the PlayStation item from the Item Shop. There's always the GameBoy Advance ports if you really need a fix. Have fun and feel free to PM me if you need anything...

The old Amstrad, it was my first games system, although you could program it using BASIC, - although I never got past changing the colour of the screen or playing a few sounds ( The coding manual was incredibly thick!).  The plus range of Amstrad (CPC 464+/6128+ - key difference being that 464 was tape based and 6128 was disk based and had more memory) allowed you to slot cartridges in as well.

I had many a happy night playing Ghostbusters, Dizzy games and the likes of the Sublime Robocop (just listen to the music), I then progressed to the Game Gear and Gameboy, then the various Playstations.

A series I would love to see resurrected would be the Legacy of Kain series, I loved the first one especially.
