Alright pinsir one of the original 151 now i recently found out that people dont like this pokemon...not that i blame them this guy is not to good but is it as bad as people say it is well its my job to find that out...well not really my job just my hobbie but what ever lets start

MOVE SET

Now the first 2 moves pinsir will know are vice grip a decent physical attack move with a base attack damage of 55 and has 100% hit chance this is a good move for early on use it next we have focus energy....please dont use this move

At level 4 we get bind a move that has a base attack damage of 15 but sadly...it does damage for 2-5 turns as most of us know i hate these moves but hey your forced to take it anyway so use it if you want but i will not

At level 8 we get seismic toss a move that inflicts damage equal to the users level so for instance if your pinsir is level 50 it will inflict 50 hp damage to the target so as you can imagine this move is not that effective now but once again your forced to take it anyway so i dont recommend using it but do what you want

Now we have harden at level 11...dont use it

At level 15 we have revenge now revenge is...actually a pretty good move now let me explain this move deals 60 damage on its own but if you take damage during the turn you used this move the damage from that move will be added to revenge...that may be confusing let me give you and example lets say i use revenge pikachu uses thundershock on me which has a base attack damage of 20 since i got hit bye that move revenge now deals 80 damage so i would say this move is pretty effective and i recommend you use it

At level 18 we get brick break this move has a base attack damage of 75 and its pretty basic but this move also breaks through the moves such as reflect and light screen so this move is....effective to say the least it has good damage i recommend you use it

At level 22 we get vital throw a base attack move with a base damage of 70...its good but we already have brick break so there is really no point to using it but hey dont let me stop you from using it if you want to

Now at level 26 we get submission a move that deals 70 damage once again though there is no point to using it plus you take recoil damage...so...next

Now at level 29 we have x scissor and...this move is pretty good its a bug type move with a base damage of 80 so i suggest you replace something in your moveset for this its pretty good

OKAY level 33 and we get...a odd move okay its storm throw this move has a base damage of 40 and always results in a critical hits...i dont get the point of this move i dont even know why this move exist its weak i dont recommend you use it but use it if you want

now at level 36 we get thrash and this move is decent it has a base damage of 120 and has 100% hit chance...oh you think you could have this move and get away with it well let me crush your hopes and dreams this move confuses the user after 2-3 turns and thats gonna screw you over alot...i say use it but only in a last resort but keep this move in your back pocket it could come in handy sometime

At level 40 we get sword dance and this move is good for competitive play its really is but sadly its not that good in the game but once again use it if you want but this pokemon still does not even need this because its attack is high enough already

NOW FINALLY AT LEVEL 43 WE GET SUPERPOWER this move does 120 damage but lowers the users attack and defense bye 1 stage...this is SO GREAT and im gonna say use it why...? well join me when i get to tms and hms

now at level 49 we get get guilitine...dont use it

STATS

Okay this things stats....are mostly focused on attack and defense so its can take a few blows and knock a few guys out and...thats pretty good sadly its 2 lowest stats are its special defense and health so its not that good of an all out brawler but it can be good for a back up pokemon now ?its low health wont be...to much of a problem and thats because of its 3rd highest stat its speed yep oddly this pokemon is pretty fast and if you train it enough to focus on speed this pokemon can be pretty good not great but good now time for tms and hms

TM AND HMS

Now being and average bug type pokemon this thing does not have the best tms and hms but its does have some pretty good ones and i think i have developed a good set so let me tell you that set

Earthquake
Superpower
Sword dance
X Scissor

Now remember when i said sword dance will not be that effective here well i underestimated it now look at the moves...notice how all of them are physical attack moves except for swords dance well pinsirs main stat lies in its attack couple that with sword dance and you have a freaking TANK if you use sword dance about 3 times you can destroy most things in your way and superpower wont do much because it lowers your attack bye 1 stage not 2 and since you just raised your attack 3X from sword dance superpower will barely do a thing and also most of the moves in this set allows you to take on multiple types of enemys and to go even further this pokemon only has 3 weaknesses and those are flying rock and fire so..thats all i got for guys FINAL THOUGHTS

Final thoughts:okay this thing is not great but its good its decently effective in gyms and against your rival its...kind of hard to find buts its effective take it if you want this pokemon receives alot of hate and i dont know why maybe it was really bad in first gen and second gen but its pretty good now but hey maybe there is something i am missing and if there is please tell me all in all a effective pokemon maybe not great but effective if your looking for a bug type pokemon that can take a few its i would recommend this guy
