Hi, Newbie to this Page, but revisiting old games has been great!

I have an issue though, whenever I load a saved game on Pokémon Red, I am unable to use and keys afterwards, including dpad or x(z), y(x) or menu buttons. I have tried to reset and using different browsers but still the same thing. Anyone know whats going on?

I would just try changing the set-up of the controls by either double clicking or pressing escape. Change the controls but obviously still to your comfort, If that doesn't work I can't help you. Sorry.
