Is there really any solid evidence for this guy to say that aliens exist? It is too easy for someone to claim to have seem something in the sky and claim it's a UFO...

This guy is a government person. He has access to government documents. He has information that is not available to the public. He chose to reveal it to the public.

Did you watch the video? He is not say he saw a ufo in the sky. He said he was informed of the fact that the US government is working with a species of aliens in a Nevada air force base called the tall whites.

Again, this world is full of lies. Of course the documents that are not available to the public may be false as well. Of course, since we do trust the government and that there really is not much reason to lie concerning this, it very well might be true. This very well could be a publicity stunt even though it does not serve any purpose (that we know of), who knows. And I did not state that this government official saw any UFOs.

These words are completely right. The documents could be fake. Or maybe they're telling the truth. But there is no scientific proof (and I mean real science before you counter with "sightings") that these extraterrestrials are real. The government might be going for publicity from others for all we know.

Government officials lie, video and sound quality was a  poor and this wasn't even on any of the news channels I get , I think I could have took this more seriously if the guy saying it wasn't  looking like he was going through dementia and was elderly and if this was real the government official that told us this would be "bye bye"(I.E killed or locked up for high treason for leaking highly classified information), considering I'm sure information like that is highly sensitive and classified. In my opinion I think this is straight bull a mere faked video or real video footage just edited to say that . 

bobq : Let me just say...what are the odds of some other species living in outer space? I think it's well established that earth is the only location with life form. There's lots of times where Government officials aren't legitimate. There's a good 89-100% chance this is all fake. No one has any real evidence - not even governors have REAL evidence of aliens. All this is just a superstitious joke. Just like ghosts. This is all a mythology.

Scientists predict that there are more galaxies in the universe than there are grains of sand on earth.

Also, scientists have discovered that other galaxies have their own suns. 

To think that there are no other life forms in the entire universe is completely ridiculous.

Hmm, so what if there are other galaxies with their own suns? The sun is just a star, so basically you are saying there are galaxies with their own stars...well of course, duh. There are many many stars that are way bigger than our sun, so it really doesn't mean anything if other galaxies have their own "suns", their are many behemoths that are bigger.
And again, there may be many galaxies predicted to be out there...how many are proven to have life forms?

Sidewinder : Sadly I'm going to bring this into this thread and I hate that I'm the one to do it. But, by your statement how can we know god exists? Sure a lot of people think aliens are upsurd because we have no proof that they exist. But how do we have proof god exist sure, he supposedly left a book "The Bible" (and I'm talking about christianism/catholiques sorry for those with more than one god.) which by the way we have no knowledge of the truth of it. But on the other hand, people can also argue that the first typical picture of the grey/green alien was left behind by aliens.


Also, for the person who said it's established that the earth is the only place with living species, we can't really know. We don't have good enough technology to proove that Earth is the only place where species lived. For example, scientist are starting to make assumptions that there was once life on mars because they found signs that there was once water on the surface.

bobq : I don't think you know what a galaxy is when you say that a galaxy has it's own sun. There is a big difference between a solar system and a galaxy. A solar system is a star with celestial bodies (planets) orbiting it. That would be a case where something would "have it's own sun". A galaxy is an enormous cluster of hundreds of billions of stars, any number of which can or cannot have planets orbiting them. If you have just one sun, you don't have a galaxy. In the milky way galaxy, there have been over 200 confirmed stars with planets orbiting them. But their compositions are not one that really support life. Not just human life, but life in general. That is just simple knowledge of chemistry and how different atoms interact in life forms. There are only 2 planets (unless that has changed in the past year) confirmed to have liquid water, the base chemical component to allow life to happen. But no other evidence other than having some liquid water show point to being able to support life. 

With that said, I think it naive to not believe that of the countless planets out there that are made the same was as ours was, ours was the ONLY one to form in the correct conditions for life to happen. 

With that said, I do NOT believe alien civilizations have come to earth. I have explained my reason for thinking this in other threads, and it takes about 2,000 words to go through it, so I won't do it here. But you would have to either be able to live for a minimum of hundreds of thousands of years to make a trip or you would have to be beings made out of pure energy, thereby not limited to the traveling under the speed of light like things made up of matter are. 

Your argument is "this guy is a government official". So government officials are not politicians? And would you argue that politicians don't lie? Telling the truth is not what makes a government official.

Id also say for them to be advanced enough to overcome these things begs the question why physically visit earth and how could we possibly detect them?

thenumberone : I will have to get back to you on that. The person who showed me this info was a coworker of mine in the middle school I was teaching in Spring semester of this year. I am 5 hour away from that school now, so I will have to get in touch with him on that one. It was a very recent thing though. Literally not even a year ago. He found out about it in April. I'll try to contact him and let you know through profile comments or something. I do believe they were actually moons, might not have been actual 'planets'

bobq : I kinda like the video quite a bit actually. I'm not exactly very sure if aliens are real or not though. If they are truly real then I would freak out. I hope to God that they aren't going to take over Earth if they land here.

But on a serious note: Why so closed minded?

I think Extraterrestrial beings or what we called "ALIENS" are actually true. I don't say that I saw them with my eyes but there is no need to see them with our naked eye. Universe is so vast man, it is INFINITE, no edge. We think that Humans is the only living organisms in the universe, and we don't actually thinking about some other extraterrestrial beings lying light years away from our planet. In my opinion, I think this "ALIENS" had already visited in our planet long time ago. We don't need to search their Spaceships, because they leave some of an evidence  or architectural structures like the Pyramid. I don't say again that They made the pyramid but, did we actually saw that the egyptians built that Super Large structure? No one of us saw that. I believed that the Extraterrestrial beings help them with an advance technology. This is only my opinion, no one knows the truth.

"From what i know the only planet known to have water is earth", that is what you said, and extra terrestrials are not bound by our laws of life. For example, there could be an alien race breathing hydrogen and drinking mercury. That example might be a little extreme but you get the idea.

I said known planet. There is undoubtably water somewhere else.
While life doesent have to be the same as ours, the fact all life here relies on water makes it fairely likely its a pre requisite of life.
