Whats wrong with it?

Divine Aurora : I believe it should show it on your profile because it can show if someone is doing it consistently or not. The overall can give us an idea as to how their posting on the forums, which leads to your second point. People will use this to say that they like or don't like what you say. We know that and expect everyone (including David) to get dislikes now and again. However, if you are getting some huge dislikes, then something must be wrong with the way that you post. I told you that the number itself doesn't matter as much as the range of numbers. If your like/dislike rating is below a negative 10 overall, then it is definitely the way you post that is being disliked and you need to check how you say things to other people as well as making sure you post is really contributing. If you are above that score, you have nothing to worry about.

Honestly, if everyone uses this feature, the idea of abuse will go away.

i like it ...there should be just like and the dislike should go so it will be like youtube  that what i think and what dose happened if someone give you dislike to your post ...

First, I didn't really liked the system because I thought this wouldn't be a good idea and used for abuse, spamming, flaming and being mean.
Later I didn't saw any of that things. That's just means the system is amazing! Thanks to David to make the dislike system good enough for no abuse etc. Because you can't dislike many post in one day.

But disliking about someone's opinion is not good to do. I think it's better to use the dislike button only if the post is spammy or copied and pasted. Everyone has different opinions so that's why. And I've respect for everyone with opinions about things like this.
And if you like a post, I think it's better to have a reason before using the like system. Not just random liking. Think before you do things. ~

I don't really use the system that much, I think I only liked a post and disliked one.
Personally I think it's good to have this. Why? Well if you don't like it, then it's pretty simple ~ You can never use the system. People who like it, can use the system! It's pretty easy after all.

Personally, I love it. I think it is a great way to seperate the good posts from the bad.

Hmm...this is a really interesting discussion. I think that a really good improvement of this feature would be to completely remove the dislike button. There would be no risk for people trolling or bullying, only a way to give good feedback to a good post.

I think this is a pretty great idea, the reason why I said it's great, it's because you can like a post if it's pretty much well worded and dislike any post that is pretty spammy.
