Hello everyone!

I present to you the One Syllable Game!

It goes as follows:
  1. Person 1 asks a question.
  2. Person 2 responds in an answer and makes sure to use only one syllable in each word.
  3. Person 2 asks the next question and the chain goes on.

If you want, you can use the one syllable rule on the questions, too.

You will have to avoid the words you would normally write and replace them or change the sentence, so that it works.

Examples:

Person 1: What is your favorite pet?

Person 2: The pet that I like the most will be the bird with lots of red, blue and green. [Avoided the words "parrot", "favorite" and "colors" due to the one syllable rule.]

What is the meaning of life? [lol]

...

Tips:

  • The word "because" can be avoided with "due to the fact that" or "since" for example.
  • To avoid writing 2-syllable-words like "isn't", "you're", "doesn't" etc. you can write it in two words. ("Is not", "you are", "does not")
  • It's allowed to write shortened forms like "I'm", "I'd" etc. as long as they are pronounced with one syllable.


You can ask whatever comes in your mind. Try to write not too short answers; the longer the better. Be creative and have fun!
