When posting in threads about other people's hacks

Be respectful, people put a lot of work into their hacks. That means no flaming. If someone has a hack thread that you Don't approve with or Don't like, then either hold your tongue, or be constructive.

Before posting a thread about your hack

Making a video game hack is incredibly time-consuming, the task may seem small, but even the simplest of tasks can take tons of time to do. Before posting a thread about your hack, make sure you have at least some progress, and have the necessary skills to complete it.

When posting a thread about your hack

Give the post some substance. For example, if you are hacking Pokémon Red with a new story, new combat system, and new Pokémon, then describe some of the changes you plan to make.
