This is a problem that constantly occurs in ROM Hacking tools, especially in certain Pokemon tools. The one I've noticed that's been complained about the most is Advance Text and certain evolution tools. That said, however, there are other programs that aren't involved with this at all that carry the error. This usually happens with programs that run out of the box with no installation, since comdlg32.ocx is a file that needs to be installed into Window's system.

1) Download comdlg32.ocx from here.
2) Extract it to Windows/System32
3) Start -> Run, type in



If you're using Windows Vista you need to do something a little different.

Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt -> right-click, "Run as Administrator". If you're not the admin for your computer then you're going to need to get admin permission in order to continue. The command prompt should open up. Enter the same code as above.
