As a bisexual, I have a crush on this girl from my gym class.

I found her Instagram on a mutual friend's Instagram like back in this past May & then she had a link to her Tumblr. I started ''following'' her on both social network services.

Thing is, she almost never replies to me, even though I can tell she goes on because her stuff comes up on my dashboard and feed.
Never replied to me on Instagram & replies to like 2/3 of her other comments. I put the @ symbol before her Instagram name when I comment, so I'm sure she sees them.

Only replied to a few messages, one day, on Tumblr. We had a good conversation. She didn't give me any one-worded answers. Elaborated. Asked me questions, like what I intend to major in. Encouraged me to attend an event at the end of the summer that I told her I may not be able to make it to.

I then sent her a follow-up message on Tumblr, asking her what her favorite & least favorite teachers from our school because my friend and I were talking about that, but guess what? No reply again, but was obviously online, according to my dashboard.

I mean, I know she uses an iPhone & the Tumblr app on it is crappy because it never notifies any users when they get new messages & notifications, but if she remembered to check for our conversation, can't she remember to check again?

& what's the story with the Instagram comments? Most of my Instagram comments don't get deleted either. They just stay there, not replied to.

I can't see her too much in person anymore because I just graduated our high school & she's only gonna be a senior & I've never seen her outside of school.

I'm getting a whiff of a jealous partner here. I once commented on one of her photos saying ''very pretty!!'' & she deleted it!!!

What do you think, honestly?

Few possible reasons.

1. When you said you found her instagram on a mutual friend's instagram, that gives me the impression you weren't particularly great friends with your crush. Maybe she is like me, in that she might not reply to people on social networks whom she doesn't know well. 

2. The high school thing might be another thing. One thing I found is that people still in high school talk less and less to those who already graduated. It happens all the time. 

Well I would say those too but we had a pleasant conversation when she DID reply and she still replies to other people who I just barely know who graduated with me...

Me: haha cool!! never heard of it. & sorry if i seemed rude in my reblog last night. i was joking lol. im going to Hunter College by the way. where do you think you want to apply to college?

Her: idk yet, what are you majoring it

Me: accounting lol. and do you know this girl named mona? omg she looks so much like you! just lighter skin & a couple of years older than you. she and i went to middle school together.

Her: no doesnt sound familiar

Me: ohh okay lol. what kind of music do you like? i used to like things like metallica and system of a down a lot but i like pop now.

Her: idk eveyrthing i guess, im really into house music now. have you heard of ezoo you should go. its this crazy rave at the end summer. you should check it out

Just a hunch, but do you think that she is bi too? Maybe she found out that you are, and she is a little freaked out? I don't know, just throwing it out there.

yeah, maybe if you just happened to find her instagram, that might mean that you don't really have a strong relationship with your crush and you need more time to get to know each other better. Maybe she doesn't know you all that well and you just need to get to know her better before you get into more serious conversations and such. Honestly, that is what I would do since I am that kind of person, I need to know someone furst which takes time, before becoming friends. So maybe that is part of the reason for this.

xxeliza321xx : I think that you just gotta take it easy and relax, if she gets back she gets back to you don't let it worry you. And she probably will you don't know if she has other things on or if she's in a lazy mood or whatever.

Haha yea that's true....she's not posting much these days....just like a few when she comes on & she doesn't come on every day anymore

xxeliza321xx : yeah it is what it is don't get too hung up on it, just sit back and relax and do your thing. I myself barely go on my social media sites much during periods because I just don't feel like it and she probably does the same thing

My crush is not exactly a normal person. So she can be a bit hard to understand sometimes but if she does not reply to me I ask her till she replies. Maybe she just does nort hear or understand what I am saying at times. Wadya think ?

While it could be a jealous partner, it's not very likely. Just try to get closer to her a little at a time, preferably offline. If someone was trying to be friends with me online to get close to me offline, I wouldn't react completely positively either.

And don't worry too much. If it's meant to be, it will be, and if it isn't, there are other fish in the sea (a lot more for you). Just take it as it comes and don't try to force anything to move faster. Things take time, just look at Harvest Moon.

I told her I don't....because that's the truth....
But I looked it up & it seems to be drug-related.....

I still don't really know if you two were really good friends before all this. 

Assuming you weren't exactly close before you started messaging her, I think you were coming on pretty strong. Like it was clear you were trying very hard to get to know her. If it isn't casual, it just feels a little pushy. That is never good.

And hope the DMT thing doesn't amount to anything. Not a good thing to be mixed up in.

Well, I don't totally disagree with you and I respect your opinion. You're right about us being not so close before I started ''following'' her on Instagram, but I thought it was OK to follow her because a LOT of people on IG follow people they don't necessarily know these days on IG. And quite a few people who I am not particularly close to, but just know of from school follow me before I follow them back....

And she doesn't seem to mind, from that conversation I posted about earlier....
