Vizzed Server Mail Issues Resolved - Plus re-sending activation emails to all pending accounts

I was having troubles with the SMTP stuff on vizzed board server which is in charge of sending out activation emails, password reset emails, etc.

All should be fixed now and I created a script to email every single user who hasn't activated their account with activation details on how to activate their accounts. In the past few days, hardly anyone has been signing up due to the email issue since most of them didn't get an activation email. The script not only emailed everyone in the past few days but everyone since day 1 of vizzed board (I figured, might as well right?).

The script is still running but will be done in a few hours. Expect a bunch of new people today and tomorrow.

Well maybe I'll make up for it by sending an extra 100 Viz to the members who this has been an inconvenience to (an automated query of course).

Since I'm getting near my SMTP limit for the day, I'll continue tomorrow. I left off at id 19591 which means the script has probably a few hundred people left to email. People signing up though should still get an email.

yeah, I was wondering about that.... the number of people awaiting registration keeps going up.... even though this has been going for a few days now....

I'm still getting people saying they've never received an e-mail....

they say they have tried multiple addresses and they still can't register.... this is not someone joining brand new but from a couple weeks ago.

not sure if you got all the way through your list, but if a lot of those people can't join you might want to kill their registration and instead send an e-mail to all the people that tried to join and tell them to try again instead?
