This year has been an interesting year so far when it comes to birthdays, especially for me and my friends.

A friend of mine had a very special 17th birthday this year, President Obama was inaugurated that day.

For my birthday, Michael Jackson died. (I was pretty upset the rest of the day. "/)

On my best friend's birthday, NASA was going to launch a shuttle but the launch got scrubbed. (meaning that they had to postpone the launch for another day.)
