Me being very young, my first Pokémon Games were the fourth generation games, Diamond and Pearl. Me being extremely young, about 5 or 6, didn't know how to play. So I never played it that much. Years later, when I learned to read better, I got interested in the anime so when we moved I begged my Mom and Dad to buy me Pokémon Platinum. They got me it for my Birthday. I played to death and played it at night when nobody noticed. Then I got the Trading Card Game, But because I didn't know how to play I just gave it to my Next door neighbor. Then my fandom Increased more than ANYTHING. I then played the old games and the new games and I have never let go of the Pokémon franchise EVER. Even though I have never played a single generation 5 game I am looking forward to the sixth. Now that you know my story I really really really want to know yours. I want to know how you first got interested in the Awesome Nerdness. Pokémon has made many fans, both young and old. But how and when did you first get interested in the whole thing. Besides, if Pokémon weren't around then where would we get awesome and mindless entertainment from the second best selling franchise in the entire earth. Now go and shoo type it down

Well, I was viewing some tetris attack videos, and scrolled down to comments, some people were talking about Pokemon Puzzle League so I search that in Youtube and its like tetris attack, then I searched to the Pokemon anime (The game featured the anime characters) and they did lots of battles and now I play puzzle league it was fun then after I watch a lot of the anime I then really played the games, and they're really fun. My post probably didn't make any sense at all but, whatever...

Well, all of my siblings used to be obsessed with Pokemon, so they had all these Pokemon games and Pokemon purses and stuff. So when I was very young, I would take their Gameboy SP and play some Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. I had no idea what I was doing, but I was hooked instantly.

I remember it like it was yesterday, I decided to sneak into my older brothers room while he was at school and steal his gameboy. My mom caught me and took it away but the 10 minutes I had to play it Pokémon crystal was in it. From then on I kept bugging him to play and he slowly let me good times 

How did I first get interested in Pokemon?, Well when I was about 6 or 7 I was at my cousins house and he left his Game boy color laying around with Pokemon Silver in it and my aunt told me I could play his game since he wasn't here and I did. After that I was hooked on the generation 1 and 2 Pokemon games.

My sister loved pokemon first then i started to get jealous. I played it then I started to love it to 

The reason I got interested into Pokémon was because of the Pokémon Ancient Mew. Later on my friend moved and he gave me 79120 Pokémon cards and in that collection were the old hard Japanese Holographic cards and 17 Ancient Mew cards. I then heard about the game of Pokémon Heart Gold and that is what got me hooked into the Pokémon Franchise. I then found out about vizzed so now I have completed

I have completed almost every single Pokémon game that there is and they are quite fascinating. The older versions are so fun to play since they were based off of events that were happening currently in the world while the game was being developed and being created. Also all of the names in Pokémon are actually based off of special names in meanings in the Japanese culture. Many of these reasons have gotten me to start playing Pokémon again because I stopped playing it for around two or three years. Then my friend tdud123 and I were browsing Google when we found out about vizzed which surprised us because it has all of the old types of  Pokémon games that we had been looking for. The best part of it was that all of the games all practically free since all we have to do to get the games we want is to be active technically on the forums and make posts to earn vizzed. Which is also a really good way for people to be active on the website.

I watched the show Pokémon  indigo league when I was a kid and started liking it and because the games are RPG which I like to play 

I had never heard of it till my Uncle bought me the Red version when I was little. I started playing and was hooked instantly. My 1st Pokémon I ever picked was Charmander.

When I was 5 I played diamond on my friend's DS and I really liked playing it. so when I was 6 I had a DS and got firered and Charmander made me like pokemon even more. I still have Charizard who has never lost after beating Blue at the Kanto league. I now have at least one game from each generation of pokemon and the most from one generation I have is Unova. I have all 4 of the gen V games

the tv show that's where it all started I mean old school poke back in the 1997 when pokemon was good and then I played the games from poke yellow to poke diamond

How did I first get interested in Pokemon?, Well when I was about 6 or 7 I was at my cousins house and he left his Game boy color laying around with Pokemon Silver in it and my aunt told me I could play his game since he wasn't here and I did. I watch the anime for about 3 years. I played pokemon indigo (now UnovaRPG) before but it knew the real games were probably going to be better. So on my ninth birthday I asked my dad if I could get Pokemon Pearl. So that morning my day hands the game to me and I immediately put it in the DS Lite. I picked Chimchar and that's how it began. Also I wanted to play Pokemon with other people as I heard it had online but that never worked. Still didn't bother me much. 

The tv show...ironily that was my first show I watched lol I remember vividly and my parents saw I really liked it and got me Pokémon yellow...another thing is when crystal came out I as so impressed by little animation the Pokémon do when you first encounter  a poke

When I was really young I started watching the anime and I had a pikachu plushie so I used to pretend I was Ash.
When I started preschool I started getting into collecting pokemon cards.
I had a gameboy pocket which had pokemon silver but I didn't get very far as I couldn't save and didn't have a charger.
Some time around 3rd or 4th grade I think I stopped collecting pokemon cards.
I discovered a site called playr.org which let me play the gen 1 and 2 pokemon games and on that site I beat the elite four in pokemon crystal for the first time.
I still vaguely remember my team I believe it was:
Feraligtr
Gyarados (A regular one not the shiny one in lake of rage).
Pidgeot
Ampharos
Gloom
I think the last one was a hm slave not sure what pokemon it was couldve been the shiny gyarados.

Around 4th or 5th grade I got a Nintendo ds lite
And a bit later I got pokemon diamond which I played and beat.
It was also around now I stopped watching the anime actively.

A bit later I was looking for a way to play pokemon ruby and I learned about emulators and then I also began getting interested in pokemon hacks. (And I started to get into pokemon mystery dungeon).

And ever since ive been a poke nerd lol.

This is my older brother's thread but since I just signed up I guess I will post to him. I first got interested in Pokémon when I saw him playing Pokémon Platinum for his Birthday. I got interested and watched the anime. It seemed fun so I played his Pokémon game without saving it. I never owned another Pokémon game until I got Pokémon Diamond, which my little brother broke. My little brother got Pokémon Pearl. My older brother and I battled a lot but he wins a lot. When he signed up to Vizzed as KingTrololo he had Pokémon Fire Red and I had Leaf Green on his Account. But now that I have my own I can have my own Leaf Green. THE END

I believe I first got into Pokemon when I saw one of my friends playing it, I thought it was awesome, then I begged my parents to get me a Gameboy SP, then I got one for Christmas, and eventually I got my first Pokemon game, Fire Red. That game was awesome!
