Hello there! I am Black Bot with another simple computer question!

So, How often does your computer crash or freezes?

Freezing: My computer Freezes about every 4 days or so.  When I leave it on, there is a blank screen, and the only thing to do is to Force shut it down by HOLDING the power button. Some times my computer also freezes during long and important downloads. I really hate when that happens. I have been waiting for like 12 hours which was the whole day, and guess what? With a few minutes to go, It freezes and I have to restart it! And guess what? When I opened it when it was finished downloading, in would not even open for some reason!

And of course, A lot more reasons that I am too lazy to explain.

Crashing: My computer crashes very rarely. And when I say rarely, I mean 4 - 7 months.
I have gotten the Black screen of death, because of a very bad virus and the only way to fix it is to restore my computer from a different period of time which was very annoying because I have to download a bunch of important stuff all over again.

Luckily, I have not gotten the Blue Screen of Death, and if I did, I would say that would occur like every 2 years or even 3 years or so.

I am quite lucky that I have not even gotten close to the horrible Blue Screen of Death.

Why too much. But, since my laptop is from 2007, was a piece of crap when it was given to me, and I have had to replace the battery once and charger twice... I am thinking it might be time for a new laptop, if I can save up the money to get one, get windows 7, and get a file dump done. 

My computer rarely freezes and it's never crashed. It used to freeze on every N64 game I played with the RGR plugin (because of that stupid Rice video plugin with terrible game graphics issues) until I tried the Arachnoid video plugin that works perfectly.

My laptop always gets Blue Screens and has to restart. It's very annoying, especially if it happens while I'm posting. I'd like to find some solution to it, if there is one.

SetoKaiba1025 : You should restart your computer to a certain point of time, or just simply buy a new computer.

Black Bot :   Thank you for trying to help, but my laptop has had problems since I got it and Lenovo refused to replace it. Also, I've tried the restoring method a bunch of times with no result. Now, the only solution that I've come to is replace the RAM chips, but every business that I've talked to said that they don't replace ones in laptops. So, I might as well get a new one soon.

Black Bot : Usually My computer freezes whenever I have too many tabs on or whatnot.

SetoKaiba1025 : I have Lenovo as well. I had a bunch of viruses once as well. I tried to Restoring to the certain point of time method, and I set it to when you first got your computer. Then it would act as you have got your new computer and you edit the settings and stuff at the beginning where the black screen is. Do you have Windows 7 or something similar to that?

Black Bot : Yes, I have Windows 7. After doing some more searching, I've found out that the problem is actually from the manufacturing, not from a virus. Too bad though, because the only solution to this is a replacement computer, which I don't have enough money at this time to buy. But the situation has gotten better over the months and is now bearable. Thanks for the help though.

Mine never freezes, but it crashes like once a week.

Mine has frozen a few times in the past, but not as often as before though.
It crashes maybe 2 times a year but it used to crash 5 times a year

Mine is doing it a lot less now, b ut I am still getting it about 20 times a day. ( Both of them combined )

Sometimes when i use my Acer laptop, it usually freezes for like a minute. It literally pisses me off, the only thing that i can do that i know it's still alive is moving the mouse while it's freezing. It also does this beep when it's stops freezing.

My computer sometimes crashes on a random times. It freezes a little bit when I play an SNES game.

A lot. It isn't the best laptop, but it has value to me for reasons I'm not going to go in depth into unless I become a mod and get permission for an ask anything. It freezes at certain websites, on many RGR games, and many things in between. It gets irritating, and sometimes frustrating, but this laptop has sentimental value to me.

1GB Ram... That sums it up. Oh wait and a very bad graphics card. This thing freezes all the time.

My computer crashes everytime I open up too many tabs. If I open a youtube tab and a vizzed tab and a tumblr tab . It freezes bigtime.
