Not very often at all. Maybe once or twice a month.
It did freeze and crash a frequently about a year ago, but that was because the HDD was dying and needed to be replaced. Since I replaced the HDD there have been no problems. If there are problems, usually only one program/application will crash at a time, usually because I'm running too many programs at once.

I hate my computer. It crashes at least once or twice a day, if it doesn't then I'm really lucky. I'm using a really old xp with too many games downloaded and I figure that's why it keeps crashing, but I'm hoping I can maybe get a new one for Christmas and I'm too lazy to fix it xP

Back when I had my old computer between 2008-2012, it always keep crashing on me and freezes up, especially in the later years I had it, it was a Windows Vista which wasn't surprising though.

Well, I recently upgraded my eset security to the newest version which is eset 6 and my computer has not crashed once since installation which is great. I run a scan every day and I never get problems with it slowing down or freezing too much.

It has a personal firewall and cleans and quarantines any harmful viruses found on my computer through the scans. Thanks to this my computer has been running fast and smooth and it hasn't crashed in about 2 months which is great. Eset security is the best computer security in my opinion.

The closest my laptops come to freezing was when I made a failed modification to a game of mine, I had to restart to close program. Has my laptop ever crashed? Thankfully no, but It has died before and now I'm waiting for a replacement battery to come in post.

The only time it crashes is when I'm playing Battlefield 4.  Only happens every couple weeks or so, but it's still annoying.  The screen will freeze, a buzzing comes over the speakers and I have shut it off.  Same crashes also happened to Battlefield 3, seems to be a pattern...  Even playing more demanding games and running stress tests doesn't crash it.

My computer does pretty good overall not to crash or freeze. There is the occasional "you're doing too many things at once" problem that causes lag, but it doesn't freeze unless I really try. It DOES freeze when I try to play Diablo 3 for more than ten minutes consecutively, so that's kind of sad. But I think that's a Windows 8 problem.
