Lately, I have been unable to play any games that require the right analog stick on my PS3. I had dropped it, and it stopped working. It goes vertically, but not horizonally, it drags heavily to the right no matter what though, making games incredibly hard to play.

Since I'm a cheap man, I do not wish to just buy a new controller, so does anybody know how I could fix it?

alexanyways : Does the analogy... like... is it not stiff? If it is not stiff, then you are screwed. If not, you might be able to open up the controller, and move a piece. It probably just got jostled out of place.

alexanyways : You probably broke a piece of the controller when you dropped it somehow. The fall probably just damaged the circuits under the analog. You might want to get it repaired, or not be cheap, and buy a replacement.

alexanyways : The best thing to do might be to try and open the controller, I mean if it's broke anyway what else are you going to do with it? If you open it up and check to see if those parts are in their proper places that might help make the Analog move better.

Bit of an update:

I got the button to stop being pressed when I use it, but now the right analog does not move vertically. I have taken it apart, but I do not know what to do.

I hope there's something I can do, it doesn't look good when you buy a controller 3 months ago and it's already broken XD.

alexanyways : It's just a matter to see if a piece was knocked loose when you dropped it. I mean, I've seen the inside of a few controllers and fixed a few but evn so, some can be permanetly damaged. I have a game controller for Viz that the right analog moves on it's own. I have a similar problem and I can't fix it either.
