When it comes to Poké Balls, I have a few favorites. But, if I had to choose one, it would be the Net Ball. It's good to use if you want to capture Bug and Water Pokemon.

Yeah, I like the ultra ball because it is good enough for catching strong pokemon and I like the design and the way the ultra ball looks. i think the masterball design is eh, I am not crazy about the purple, but I like the design for this ball, i think it is cool, good for catching strong pokemon and it is what I use to catch legendary pokemon with if I don't have a masterball handy.

PixelBrick : It really sucks when that happens. I dared one of my friends to catch a caterpie with one and to save it and they actually did it and sent a screenshot. I laughed. He regretted it later on. I wasted a masterball on a registeel later on that wasn't really even that great. I once caught all of the legendary Pokémon in a hack except for registeel which used roar and never showed up ever again, so as you can see I hate it when this happens to me and I regret not saving more often to avoid this sort of problem. So yeah I understand the frustration...

Well my favorite Pokeball to use is the timer ball because I like its color(white & red) and design and I like it's effect, the longer the battle lasts and you use the timer balls the catch rate accuracy goes up.

Black Bot : I think the Master Ball should be Golden. Since the Master Ball is known to always trap a Pokemon if you catch it, and they're rare in the Pokemon universe, why make it purple? The color of the ball doesn't fit the back story to it...

It's interesting to see how a lot of people are listing their favorites based on effectiveness when the OP wanted it based on design.... 


My favorite pokeball design would be the Cherish Ball. I like its near solid red color with the black accents around the opening mechanism. I think i'd actually like to see different pokeballs colored all black with different colored accents around the opening mechanism. I think that would look better.

GS ball?

well the GS isn't really a pokeball but I like the mystery behind it.

I love the Cherish ball, I love it when you send a pokemon into battle that was caught in a Cherish ball, it has a rainbow kind of effect that I think really goes well with it's name. plus it's kinda cool how the Cherish ball holds events, so it really lives up to it's name.

    I also enjoy using the Dusk Ball. The green, black and spots of yellow really mesh well for me.
