Well, I haven't seen anyone who is under the age of 13 do anything immature yet but I don't go to the chat room often so who knows? lol.

Maybe there could be a general chat room with the age restriction and another chat room with no age restrictions. But I honestly don't mind the age restrictions because I'm 14, lol. 

I wonder how people who are under the age of 13 will react to this. . .

Personally I never cared much for the age restriction in chat but when it was there there were less mods around and younger members didn't come in as much and report conversations every time a member would get offended by jokes but since now the age restriction is gone younger members and alot of mods go in there now and basically general chat is extremely censored and you have to watch the jokes you say because now younger members take the jokes to the heart and report even the simplest of issues and minor bad language.

I really don't know how effective age restrictions are on the web or in chat rooms. The biggest reason is children will lie about their age. Now the age restrictions has never impacted me because well I'm 29 years old . I do like what one poster said maybe have a chat room were there is not age restriction and one were there is.
