Here's a poem of mine I wrote for someone on Vizzed who asked me to write a poem about a world of wishes.  I tried to think of the best way to write about something like that, and it just sort of flowed down onto paper for 30 minutes.  Hope you guys enjoy!

The World of Eternity

If we could see in entirety
The world belonging to eternity
Would our heart grow big and swell
Or rest upon an awful hell?
Would we choose to live each day
Fuller than we live today
Or would we choose to hide away
To spread our talents along the way?
Would we hear a voice, as well?
A mother's voice beyond the Veil
That separates us from that World
Where glory is displayed unfurled.
Would all wishes come true there?
Would our lives be pure and fair?
I know that there is such a place
That reaches out to every space.
In fact, it can be found right here
In our homes that we hold dear
When love witin our homes is found
We no longer will be bound
By worldly vanity, or pride, or hate
We will then all things relate
Unto ourselves for eternal good
To dwell forever in that wood
Of love, of kindness, yes, in that place
We can find eternal peace.
