Need Help setting up Xbox controller

I'm new to vizzed, and was wondering how I could set up my Xbox controller to play a few Zelda games, but I have no idea how to do it. I already have the xbox controller hooked up and the device driver software downloaded, and I've used the controller to play other games (not through vizzed, but through steam). I went into the menu and then to config and input, but when I tried to input the keys, it wasn't detecting the controller. In case it is important, the specific game I am trying to play is Link to the Past.

JohnJohn007: Hmmm... as far as I know, John, because it is not a retro controller, or a PC gaming controller, I don't know if it will work at all. Let me summon somebody that should know.

JohnJohn007 : I donn't think the Xbox controller will work on those games here because they work differently, and the difference between here ans Steam, I think most of Steam's games on there are Xbox games, so that's why the controller works great on that site.

Thanks for you guys' help, but i figured it out. It does work, I just had to download a seperate plugin that mapped the different controller inputs to keyboard keys, and then set the games keys to match the controllers keys. It was on a post in this forum, I just hadn't looked in the right place. Thank you for the input however!
