11:26 In San Francisco. A 777 Jet Crashes.
No one Was Killed. Massive Damage, Now the updates state otherwise.People were killed. Sorry folks. I was hoping for good news.

Rough day.

Flight was from South Korea to San Francisco California.
291 Passengers. 16 Crew Members.
Fire.
Missing the Top half of the Passenger Cabin.(No roof.)
Missing Tail. (Pilot can not control the thing any longer.)
And an Amazing Crash Landing. ("And a partridge in a pear tree")
Talk about a rough day in the office for any one.

Lets See if I can Find a photo to look up and load up....

And reading that is sad. It does not affect me though, in terms of me flying. I have to fly on Friday to go home. I am not scared. I would help anybody if something were to happen.

orionfoxgibson : I'm currently reading that 2 died and 48 are injured. I'm sure the number will change as thing goes on, but my prayers go out to everyone on board and their families, along with the people working on taking care of the people and cleaning up the wreckage. How crazy!

The NTSB is still doing they're investigating but they are pretty sure it was cause by pilot error. The according to the black box that was recovered, the planes speed was way below the 130+ knots that it should have been at and it seems the pilots tried to abort the landing but couldn't get the plane lifted enough and the tail hit the shoal right before the runway. Apparently the pilots were still in training.
AND to top it off, the investigators are saying one of the deaths of the two girls that were thrown from the plane may have been cause by first responders rushing to the scene. I think they said the girls weren't wearing their seat belts, that's why they were thrown from the plane.



All in all, a plane crashed and there was only 2 deaths, that's got to be some form of a miracle.
