   As you might know, I'm working on a Pokémon hack. Now, I haven't changed all that much where there should be a ton of glitches or whatever, but I have added quite a bit of stuff, and there might be some problems. I don't have the time to test it out myself though, and I'm sort of on the lookout for beta testers.
   But I want to know if this is actually legal. I already know that the whole thing with roms is already somewhat in the grey. But is it worse if I transfer the data to somebody else? Because if that's the case, I think I would just make a beta version of it, where it cuts out halfway through the game, where the most changes occur.

Roms are in the gray area not black . It is completely legal is you use an ips patch. It's illegal to distribute .gba files.
