Hi there!  I was just wondering what games, for SNES, you guys consider to be the best?  I have played a loooot of SNES games, but I'm sure there are a bunch that I have missed.  I really enjoyed Chrono Trigger (obviously,) FF6 (I thought the ending sucked though,) Super Mario World 1+2, Metroid, Donkey Kong 1-3, Aladdin (It's fun!,) Link to the Past, and Zombies Ate My Neighbors.  There are plenty more, but I'm more interested in what you guys think.  I've been looking for a really good game to play, but I feel like I've played most of them lol.  I recently started Super Star Wars, but it is so difficult to play on my keyboard.

Contra 3 is about as good as run and gun games get. Be warned, though, it's not easy. Also, if you like RPGs, try Secret of Mana, Earthbound, and Super Mario RPG. There's also Super Castlevania IV for more Metroid-like game play and great platforming. Starfox and Mega Man X are also great.

I think Super Mario RPG is my favorite on the SNES, thus far. The visuals and character graphics were amazing. And the music was beyond impressive. Unfortunately, I screwed up the save states and just have not had the opportunity or the desire to start over from where I'm at. Sometime this summer I'll get back at it, though. I've also been playing Donkey Kong Country 2 a lot, as I feel the music and visuals in that game are very impressive, as well. I don't think I've actually played much else on the SNES, outside of the various hacks.
