Hello everyone, today I would like to ask you what your evidence for your Deity (Deities for any Polytheists) is. Please don't say, "It says "X" in "X" so it must be true" I want evidence of any sort, including personal experiences that may have assisted you in finding a God/Gods.

I would have to say that I believe in the existence of God.
The biggest reason is because the big bang is not very likely
to have created the Universe, let alone the Earth with all of its order.


Universe: a single spoken sentence.


I've actually witnessed a miracle, one that a pentacostle, preacher asked for.
He prayed for Gold to come out of me and my family's hands, and it happened!

It was spawning from the crevices of my hands!

I have heard God speak to me before, but only very rarely.

If any evidence was perfect. Then there would not be Faith.
Faith itself is a practice. Not exactly something you can "bag and tag" and put up on a shelf.
No, I have no proof any deity exists.
Nor do I care to.

Sword legion : Quite interesting to hear your story ! But more about the Big Bang theory. It didn't "create" the universe, it describes the progression of the universe to what it is today, and it didn't just go "bang" current universe. It describes how a dense universe expanded. And the creation of the earth is a whole other story. Good to hear from you though, and thanks for your response.

If I am correct, according to the big bang theory, in the beggining there was literally nothing.
And nowhere existed. And there wasn't any time.


Nothing literally means no thing.

so nothing exists.

Now, when all you have is nothing, nowhere, and you don't have any time I'm not sure that anything can happen.
In fact that is the logical proggresion, unless you are a quantum physicist. 

According to quantum physics, in a perfect vacuum, (nothing exists in a perfect vacuum) things actually come
in and out of existence. It also is never observed. This supposedly is why the big bang could have occurred.

I would like to point out that this not only kindof unscientific, and ilogical, but also that it has never been observed.

So in the end it does require faith.

No, it wasn't an audiable voice.

I think that it's kinda funny, cause now I think that Christmas has to many pagan origins
in it to celebrate. Although I will visit my family on the said holiday.

Sometimes I wander whether it was real or not.

The best evidence to support, at least, a single god is to take whichever predictions have been written within your bible and watch closely at what happens around you. For Christianity there was something that claims there is a beast that will rise out of the sea with 13 heads and 13 horns. To me, that sounds like the United States when they were colonies. The U.S. was founded by pilgrims landing on Plymouth rock and people flocking to this land afterwards. Eventually we grew into 13 colonies and each had their own state, governor etc. This is just one example. There's many more to be aware of.

The only other thing I can think of right now is that you need to watch an exorcism. If science can't prove what you see there then you gotta think there's more to life than just science. Evolution is a load of bs anyway.

There is a thread "is there a God", while not exactly the same, it's close enough. Maybe start this thread again when the other one dies off.
