Pokémon coming to an end is about as likely as Super Mario or the Legend of Zelda coming to an end - it's not going to happen.

Personally, I'm hoping that Nintendo do remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire as everyone expected. There will become a seventh generation three years to come, trust me.

As much as I like Pokémon, and stuff, I do not like any other generations after Gen 4. It seems a little weird how they are making them. I also miss the old team rocket, and how they always got blasted off. So there you have it. I would actually be glad if it came to a end if they kept making wacky Pokémon like that. I mean seriously what the heck. A Pokémon made of ice cream, and a Pokémon made of garbage. Who would think of something like that, but I don't blame them Pokémon is getting old, and they are running out of ideas for them.

I hope that they'll release a remake of Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire because I really love the Region Hoenn and Mudkip of course!

I think a remake of pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum would be cool. It could be called "Pokémon Starlight Version" that is just a suggestion. But no, I think Pokemon will never ever come to an end. It is too famous.

Otherwise we'd have over 50 pokemon -starter only- As sad as it is, once they'll have to stop. Gen six's pokemon are looking like a great step up from 4th and 5th gen though. I also think that they are terribly pressured to make more games/pokemon/stuff because, it being the second most popular gaming franchise, (third, if you count 'Super Mario' separate from Mario) there will always be millions people begging for more. I think Pokemon won't end anytime soon, no matter how lame the games or the pokemon are. Things will get crazy if it happens, and I doubt Nintendo would be willing to put an end to one of their most best selling franchises.

I think it will still continue. I mean, lots of fans have lots of fan Pokémon sprites! And Gamefreak can use these! But the ones that are good.
