Unneccesary backstory:
When I was 13 or so, I got an old used c64. It was my first (and quite outdated by that time) computer. It had several games with it, all used. I was dying to try a cRPG. I was overjoyed it came with "Alternate Reality: The dungeon". It was the first game I tried to play. Unfortunately, I never got past character creation, because Disk 2 Side 1 had a disk error. I tried hundreds of times to get it to work, and it never did. It was a source of frustration for months. Eventually I gave up and got rid of the computer.

I have tried downloading emulators and roms of the game and have yet to make one work. I am now 37 years old and married. I found Vizzed a few days ago. Yesterday, I had a sudden flashback to Alternate Reality. I searched the site and found to my joy it was available. Finally, I would be able to play the game after over 20 years!

The problem:
Imagine my horror when, after making my character, it prompted me to "Insert disk 2, side 1 press space when done". I just spent over an hour trying every single key on my computer, and half an hour just trying to google how to "Insert disk 2, side 1". I have no clue how to do it. Your forum has no discernible search function either. I don't know what to do! I am literally reliving the same overwhelming disappointment I experienced with my c64 version of the game. I am dying inside.

THE TL;DR:

I am playing "Alternate Reality: The Dungeon" in my chrome browser using the RGR plugin. The game prompts me to insert disk 2, side 1. I have no clue how to do it, and cannot find an answer on my own. Please help me!
