I think this is an interesting question for a topic. I usually asked some of my family or friends who are Patriots fans and I asked them this...

"Once Tom Brady retires, does Bill Belichick also retire?"

What I found from most of them is that they either say he will, or that he will pending what QB they get in the future draft. So I would think this is a good question to ask the Vizzed community.

If Tom Brady retires, does Bill Belichick also retire?

Oldschool41 : I think that Bill will retire at that time. He has been there for so long and has gotten his money.
After his QB is gone, who else does he have a firm connection with? He will be going to.

Oldschool41 : Personally, I can see Bill keep on coaching. His legacy as a coach is already set in stone and he WILL be in the HoF, regardless of how his post Tom Brady era goes. A better question to ask is, how will Rex Ryan get another Head Coaching job after this season?

I doubt he will. I would not say he is going to stay in NE though. It will really depend on who the new QB is and if he wants to coach them and the team as a whole.

magimangr : That would be interesting if he leaves for another team. I'm sure if he does leave New England, nearly if not all NFL teams will be trying to get Bill as a coach. Only teams that I believe won't go after Bill would be the Ravens, 49ers, and Saints.

I really cant see Bill leaving the Patriots. The Patriots aren't just all about Brady , yes a exceptional  QB with the rings to back him up but when he retires who says they cant find a decent QB to fill his position , who ever takes his place may never reach the heights he has but I am sure that Belichick will still be there in the coming years.

I don't think this will be for a while. Tom Brady is a great quarterback and he is a very successful one too. But, if he does retire, I think Belichick will retire as well.

AndrewWLees : Of course the Patriots aren't just about Brady, but Brady does set the tone for how the other teams play. If Brady starts making mistakes, can the Patriots D keep them in the game? In recent years, that hasn't been the case to a degree.

As I'm sure everyone would agree here, Bill would most likely want to see what QB he will be working with. Taking a look at the current roster, I doubt Bill would want to coach Tebow since most likely he would be the starter if Brady leaves. So if the Patriots can't bring in a veteran QB to replace Brady, would Bill want to develop a QB in the draft?! Again it would depend on the QB.

I'm sure the Patriots will get another QB soon and I think he will be leaving with Brady.
The upcoming draft I'm sure the Patriots will be looking for a QB.

I think once Tom Brady retires Brian will still be there for at least 3 more seasons, yet no one will remember them because from my predictions they'll only have one good season out of the three. I'm going to say that wining season will be 13 wins and 3 losses. They'll make it to the playoffs but lose to the broncos (by a close margin) .

Once Brady retires, the Pat dynasty will die. Because around that time, Belichick will be gone. Unless they figure a way to find another future QB or even a good Coach, they won't be the same.
