I'm trying to save enough points to buy something out of the Accessory store. However, I'm a little stumped. Should I buy the Laptop or the Playstation? I'm at 26k right now and I'll get to 50k before too long. Is there a difference between the two? I mean, I'm sure there is. But any advice given would be greatly appreciated.

The laptop items lets you play games for free and it lets you create netplay sessions. 
You should rent the psx item for 10,000 Viz and do some of the offers to keep it. The offers aren't too hard. 

And you should take screenshots to get the laptop item. David is giving out the beta test ticket for 100 screenshots, the netplay item for 250 screenshots, or the laptop AND the beta test ticket for only 500 screenshots. You should take the 500 screenshots. It will only take a few days. 
If you had to pick between the two I would suggest the psx item.
