Hello there fellow gamers, The names Tom (TRDG) and I just joined up on this interesting site just under a week ago.

Seems like I will be "in with the few "older" (LOL) people, as I am 49 years old, at the moment, but I am still a gamer at heart beleave it or not!!

I work at night in retail Mgt and and I usually get in some game time after work in the morning, and on my nights off as well.  Mostly into Strat/RPG's but I also play regular old RPG's as well.  I model WW II vehicles and play/run table top War games as well. Mostly on the net these days as the local hobby stores don't really have to many face to face gamers in this neck of the woods, so to speak.
Add in  a bit of hunting and fishing, a few stops to the bar now and then for some pool and darts, and I tend to read Fantasy books still, as well as watch some TV (Game of Thrones, Spartacus, Defiance, Continuum and many many others) at times when I get the chance.

Lets see here, went to college for a Fisheries Major but in the end did'nt graduate (ran out of money and was to proud to take my parents $$, again) and then spent my work time at the retail level. Of all things, compared to being a game warden or something, kinda strange, but thats the way it went in my life.  The parents are a bit disappointed I know, but we were never really that close, they had my sister (spoiled rotten!!) for that!!  Ha Ha

What drew me here in the first place was while I was looking for the second edition of the Shining Force series game and I got onto something called Vizzed, or some such, LOL

I signed up not really knowing what this place really has to offer, but I find myself popping in every morning after work so far, so it must be something I suspect.

As for rescent gaming I just finished Fire Emblem Awakenings, Shining Force I on my clunky old and still running Genesis and almost completed Ghost Recon Shadow Wars .

Right now on Vizzed I am in the middle of Shining Force CD, about halfway through in fact!!  then after that I plan to complete the rest of the series, then onto other RPG and Strat games here on the site (Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy to name  few).

OOPS, I am also in the middle of the WW II XBOX 360 Strat/RPG game Operation Darkness as well!!

Cheers, so feel free to post up on or about this "old timer", and I'll update as my mood, and Vizzed games takes me!!  Right now I hear the Shining Force "calling me" to continue with them this morning!!

49 isn't that old I seen users on this site 110 years old that is nothing compared to your age I actually came to Vizzed looking for a certain game I bet you know what that game is Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask and found that there was a lot more games I was interested in than just that one game though such as Super Smash Bros. and that's about it.

Thanks for the reply and, good to know there are other "old folk" out there besides me, LOL

I just finished another couple of Chapters on Shining Force CD and I am almost to the point of raising my troops to their premiere class here at Vizzed!!

Just finished the mid game battle in Shadow Wars as well, tough but in the end I got my mercs through the tough mission!!

Still looking through all the games to se what I may play next, maybe one of The Eye of the Beholder series,  and a couple others have caught my eye as well.

As for TV watching, Game of Thrones is over, as well as Da Vinci's Demons, but Mad Men and the last part of The Borgias final series episode is on tonight.

For future programs Starz has a SciFy War series in the future.  Steven De Knight (from Spartacus) is doing this one due out in 2014, then a Pirate series also from Starz, Black Sails might be good as well.

Cheers, that's all for now and its time to get back to my Shining troops" !!
