I have a lot of favorite bands such as KISS, Metalica, Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, Manowar, Guns N' Roses, Roxette, Soul Asylum, AC/DC, Aerosmith, and Tenacious D.

My 5 Most Favorite Bands are:

#5- Manowar: Manowar is awesome! They usually make heavy metal music, and before, when I had long hair, i would always bob my head to this song, and start moving my hair around

#4- Soul Asylum: These guys are awesome because a lot of the songs they make have a story to them, and the stories are usually very interesting...

#3- Avenged Sevenfold: These guys make Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, and Metalcore, and although their music doesn't seem like it, they really care for everybody

#2- Roxette:  A band formed in the 80s. My mom and dad actually recommended me to listen to this band, and this band is amazing! 

#1- Tenacious D: Tenacious D is an awesome band, and they usually make rock and metal songs. Their songs generally have a lot of swearing in them, but I still love this band, and it will always remain my favorite!

hmmm I don't know hard to say, most of the people I like are solo artists or duo's (Deadmau5, Savant, Infected Mushroom, etc.) so there's not many bands I listen to. My favorite band would either be Linkin Park, Down With Webster, or Pendulum. I like most of Linkin park's stuff and have been listening to them for as long as I've held an opinion on music. Down With Webster? I like all of their stuff and have attended one of their P4YL concerts and bought a T-Shirt after. Pendulums the band that showed me that not all Drum and Base music is horrid and also the band that introduced me to Dubstep. Two people from Pendulum broke off and became the Dubstep duo known as Knife Party so it wasn't a big leap from Pendulum to Knife Party after Googleing Pendulum.

I would have to agree that green day or linkin Park would have to be my two favorite bands, mainly because I listen to a lot of their songs and I also like the tunes in each of them as well as the overall sound. Their music just suits me. I also like Coldplay a lot too, their music is great because it is very mellow and cool at the same time. Of all of these choices I would have to say that Coldplay and Linking park both tie for first place. Both of them are awesome in their own way, so it would be hard to pick one over the other.

Anyone here likes Yellowcard. If you haven't heard of 
them you should look them up. Their an amazing Punk
band with a unique style of music, mostly incorporating
a violin guy as part of the band. Its not really usual to put
violin sounds to a Punk song, but they do it so well. As in
their music can knock your socks off

2.  A Perfect Circle
3.  Alter Bridge
4.  Chevelle
5.  Sixx: AM
6.  Three Days Grace
7.  Halestorm
8.  Soundgarden/Audioslave (just Chris Cornell really)
9.  Shinedown
10.  Billy Talent

I like plenty of other bands too like Metallica, Rush, Disturbed, Nickelback, and many more!  I could go on and on about this genre...
