I think it's Link's Awakening. It's weird how it's in between some highly acclaimed games, like ALLTP and OoT.

I'd have to say Link's Awakening as well compared to the other Legend of Zelda series it is hardly mentioned.The other games well are talked about way more.

The most underrated Zelda game has to be either Link's Awakening, Zelda II: Adventure of Link, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit tracks.


Now that I think about it, the only games that are not underrated are: Legend of Zelda ,A Link to the Past, and Ocarina of Time. And probably Skyward Sword.

Zelda ll deserves to be underrated nobody really likes it and that's pretty much the only Zelda game that wasn't as good as the others.

Zelda 2 was one of the most critically bashed Zelda games ever, besides Wind Waker, and the difference is that there's some people who still hate the game. Zelda 2 isn't bad at all, in fact, the RPG element is a nice breath of fresh air for me.

I agree that Zelda 2 is really overlooked, I mean it is a really good game in my opinion and I think that pacman really put into good terms, it is a breath of fresh air. I also thought that phantom hourglass and spirit tracks weren't that bad, sure they weren't the best either, but I certainly didn't think that they were horrible either. But that is just my opinion on the matter. Link's awakening is another one that is underrated. I think that just about all the games users have already said don't really deserve to be so underrated. But then again everyone is entitled to their own opinion towards things.

Well, as someone who really doesn't like Zelda, it is hard but I will say that Twilight Princess was underrated because of how many people got it. I really thought that it was mostly pretty good, with only a few things here and there, but I don't think that so few people should have liked it.

In my opinion, the graphics were a big gamble on the game, but it worked! It has its own unique style, and regardless of the graphics, it was a brilliantly made Zelda game with many new features and innovative gameplay mechanics, including the ability to temporarily pick up other various melee weapons.

In addition, the story is very well-written, and the game is much more accessible for people looking for their first Zelda adventure!

I think the Zelda II: The adventure of Link is so underrated, don't know why people hates it so much... It's much better than the other Zelda games. Hoped they made few more just like it but much more spells and much longer story. But I guess they will never do anything like it. Sadly.
