 hey, i used to be able to save my state/load my state with the f2 f4 thing. but when i try to save my state now, it doesnt work. can anyone help me on this problem? please and thank you

its pretty much every game, i noticed it whenever i was playing pokemon emerald. The emulator.. im not sure what your talking about but i have been choosing the play using the rgr plug-in option and thats it. I dont know why i cant do it. I can save normally like the in game save, but i cant save my state for the game.

You can also use the ''In Game Save'' (Only for Pokémon Games)
You do that if you press Enter,
Then you choose in the Menu ''Save''
Then the Game says: Would you like to Save the Game?
Say then ''Yes'' and the Game Saves for you.
Also in some other Games like Zelda are also ''In Game Saves''
I hope this could help you too.

tdaklove : Did you get a new computer? Many new laptops have separate primary functions for the F-keys.

So in order to use F2 and F4 you need to hold down the Fn key (usually found in the lower left corner of your keyboard) Also be sure that your game window is active by clicking on it.

no i didnt get a new computer and i know that you can use the in game save, thats what i said in the previous reply but i was just wandering for the save state because like for catching pokemon in any pokemon game, you can press f2 and f4 if you cant catch something and you have low pokeballs or something. i dont have to press fn for the f2 and f4 keys i can load my state from whenever the save state worked but i cant save it.
