Hello!  A newbie is someone that just joined the site and/or has not been all that active.  To become a member, you have to have been registered for 7 days, and made 10 posts in the forum.  That's it!

As for summoning someone, you type their name, followed by a colon, like this:

U.D.A Joey :

You do have to type their name on a separate line.  For example, if I wanted to summon myself, I couldn't do it on THIS line.  I'd have to hit enter and then try.

A newbie has limitations on what they receive and can do. A normal member gains them. You will become a normal after being here a week and having 10 posts. Summoning is done by typing their username and putting a : at the end of it.
