Part 3 and it's in the Handheld Systems, The Game Boy is one of the Best Handhelds out there, Yes it's in Black & White and it hasn't aged as well as say The Game Boy Advance, And than there's The Game Gear, Sega's first and only Handheld System, The Game Gear isn't the Best Handheld out there but it can't beat the Atari Lynx in terms of Bad, The Game Gear was in Color but used more batteries (6) and they run out faster (2,3,4 Hours), While the Game Boy used less batteries (4) and they run out slower (5,6,7 Hours), But anyways just like the first "What Game console is Better?", Part 1 & Part 2 of this one, NGB vs. SGG what is better?, So it's up to you again to decide "What Game console is Better".

Of course, I am going to go with the Nintendo Gameboy. The classics just can't be beat. I love the Game Gear though, it just didn't live up to it's expectations though. Honestly, I really don't care about batteries and the life, the Game Gear had color, and it was almost better at the time being. But then Gameboy received color, so it went downhill for GameGear. I didn't really like how most games played on the Game Gear, and there wasn't a lot of memorable games for it. Pokémon was most played for people on the Gameboy and that is what most people remember of it. When they think of Pokémon, they think of Gameboy and the other way around.

I had both systems when I was a kid. I loved both. There's no doubt that the Gamegear itself was a MUCH better console. It was COLOR and it wasn't bad to hold. It also had a sweet TV attachment that let you put a TV antenna on it. Pretty sweet....the only problem was that the GG didn't have enough cool games. There were only a handful that were pretty good and the rest were either "meh" or bad.

There's no doubt that Gameboy had far and away the better games between the two. Hands-down.

I like the Game Gear more as a system. Its in full color, its got some great games, and its dirt cheap.

The Gameboy had a lot more games though. While the Game Gear had a lot of strong titles, they were mostly ports of games done better on other systems.

I love to play these games on the go, but the Game Gear had bad battery life, and the back screen seemed to be a bit bright, weather you turn down the brightness, or not.

So I like the Gameboy more for its games, and the Game Gear as a device. I still voted for Game Gear though, because I don't really know what its like to actually play a Gameboy, I have a real Game Gear but not a real Gameboy. I'll get it someday, and maybe I'll review it.

I LOVE game boy. Especially GBA: SP. Fun gaming old school style. Every time I play it, there's always one kid who asks me, "What's THAT thing?" it always makes me laugh. Kids these days ha ha

In my opinion. The GameBoy. I remember when I got my GBC, that was awesome. But the original GameBoy was freaking awesome. It had the original 3 Pokémon games on it.

Game Gear, Game Gear, Game Gear!!! Ok why? The Game Boy is a gray little rectangle that plays black and white games. The only games I like on the Game Boy and the only reason to own one is the Pokémon games. The Sega Game Gear, What a handheld! It has beautiful 8 bit graphics far better then the Nes and ever better then the Sega Master System. The games on this system are very fun. Games including Sonic Chaos, Shinning Force, Ristar, Master of Darkness, and Deep Duck trouble. The Game Gear and Master System do have a lot of titles that are the same but if you do want to play your Master System on the go you can get a cool little thing that plugs into the top of your Game Gear and allows you to play Master System games (Master Gear I think)!!!!! What else could you want? Both of these handhelds have problems like no sound and messed up screens.

GenesisJunkie :

If I'm thinking correctly, then I have to respectfully disagree with you. The Game Gear from Sega (the one I have) is an extreme battery eater. I think it takes like 4 double A's and drains them in like 1 hour. Could just be mine, but I dislike the game gear

SalamenceR3 : They both eat the batteries pretty bad, but I think they have around the same battery life. I can respect that you prefer the Game Boy though, its all a matter of opinion =).
